82F Galgate has a homely living area. The perfect place to unwind with your loved ones, you can relax on the sofa and chairs, whilst watching Freeview or a DVD on the flat screen TV.
KITCHEN AND DINING AREA
Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals easily. Also sharing this space is the dining area which includes a dining table and four chairs.
BEDROOM AND BATHROOM
Upstairs on the first floor, youâll find two bedrooms, both with en-suites. Both rooms feature double beds with comfortable mattresses and premium bed linens to ensure you have the best sleep possible.
The en-suites have showers, basins, and a WC for your use.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is free on site parking outside the property, on a first come basis. Further parking is available on the surrounding street.
Please note that the TV does not have access to terrestrial channels, however streaming services are available.
The Neighborhood:
82F Galgate is located in the historic market town of Barnard Castle. Featured within the Guardianâs â10 of the UKâs best small townsâ, there is something for everyone here. If you love to shop, the town has many antique shops so treasure seekers will be in their element. There are also lots of independent stores which you wouldnât see on the average high street. Take your pick of restaurants, cafes and pubs which serve lovely home-made food.
Barnard Castle is also known for its 12th century castle. The English Heritage property has great views over the Tees Gorge. You can try to spot Richard IIIâs boar emblem carved above the window in the inner ward or explore the sensory garden.
Getting Around:
The closest train station to Barnard Castle is Bishop Auckland which is served by trains to and from Darlington and Middlesbrough. A number of connecting routes can also be found from these stations so getting to other locations around the UK could not be easier.
There are a number of bus routes throughout Barnard Castle. Hop on the Arriva X76 or X75 which travels to Darlington.
