The cabin was very comfortable for three couples. Some amenities that contributed to the comfort and fun were ceiling fans throughout, a well equipped kitchen, lots of outside space and seating, 3 kayaks, a paddle board and a canoe. The property was beautiful with lots of trees and bird watching.

Great location - beautiful views. We loved the large kitchen and dining room table. Perfect for family gatherings and games and meals.Fantastic outdoor sitting spaces with family or to get private time. steep walk to the lake and that's either a plus or a negative.

We had a wonderful family reunion at the cabin. It was the perfect size, spacious, with space for our infant daughter, and my mother and grandmother. We loved the views of the lake and the cabin’s proximity to Battle Lake and Otter Tail Lake. The screened in porch was one of our favorite places to hang out. Breck was communicative and cabin was just as described. We would book again!

Battle Lake Getaway

Did some fishing on the lake a few times and hit a few Antique stores around the area. Had a great time staying on the lake. Wish we spent a few more days at the rental. Plenty of things to do and visit around Battle Lake included lots of Family in the surrounding area.

Peaceful and private!

Things we loved: *The cabin was beautiful with great views. A great deck and/or overlook for morning coffee. Towels were provided and beds were comfy. *Close to Battle Lake for lunch or coffee. Or ice cream at Granny’s Pantry. *Secluded and private *Great fishing! *Kayaks and paddle boards provided *Dock and lift for those bring a boat. *Communication with the owner was always quick and easy! Things we didn’t love: *No easy access to waters edge for kayaking, canoeing etc. *Some prob don’t mind, but swimming area was rocky and weedy. It also made it hard to get in and out of kayaks as rocks were slippery.

Perfect!

The stay was absolutely perfect! The location and house were exactly what we needed for the perfect girls weekend! Great views! Kayaking was wonderful! The robot mower was a little creepy, but most of the time we didn’t even notice it.

Lovely Place

My family was in town for a wedding and this place was a great home away from home. Had everything we needed and the views are amazing. Did not have time to utilyze the lake but when sitting on the dock could see the water is vert clear and inviting. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Very quiet area and very peaceful.

Amazing Getaway

We have been to Battle Lake area multiple times. This was the first time staying at this location. It was wonderful to say the least. The property and house was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. Breck was great to work with and answered all of our questions! Would highly recommend this property!

Relaxing week on a beautiful lake

My husband and I and our 2 boys, 13 and 16, stayed at Pure Bliss for a week. The cabin was the perfect size for the 4 of us and could have accommodated 2 more people comfortably. Check in process was simple and there was even a bag of local coffee upon our arrival which we greatly enjoyed. The week we were there ended up being a little cold and windy to swim, but the days we were able to, the water was great. My husband and sons love the fishing in this area, so even though swimming wasn’t an option every day, they were still having a blast. The owner provided 2 bikes which was great. The state park is approximately a 5 mile ride from the cabin. Once at the state park, there is a beautiful paved bike trail. The state park also has bikes to rent. The proximity to Battle Lake is also great. The tackle store in town has a weekly fishing tournament, so my boys were taking their fish there quite often over the course of the week to weigh them. We also enjoyed 2 restaurants in town. We look for a low key vacation in the summer and this cabin definitely provided that. One note which I’m sure is mentioned in the listing, but I missed, is that there isn’t a dishwasher. Not a big deal, but nice to know. Overall, we had an amazing week.

A slice of heaven

What a delight this cabin is! My family of 4 loved our time here. The cabin was perfect for family meals and movie night if we weren’t heading into Battle Lake to enjoy one of their wonderful restaurants. The lake is beautiful. The view from the cabin’s spacious deck can’t be beat but if you want to get closer there is a little deck platform perfect for morning coffee or evening wine almost right on the water. We couldn’t swim this trip but I have seen the crystal clear water from a previous trip and I can’t wait to jump in during a stay next summer! The cabin had everything you need and although we didn’t need anything when we did ask questions of the host she was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
