Welcome to your home away from home!

Are you here to climb or just relax? We've got you covered for both, we're located 5 mins from Miller Fork. 5 mins from PMRP. This is the perfect climber house but also the perfect place for a quiet week/end in the woods. Close to Natural Bridge State Park and Daniel Boone NF. Come recharge your mind and body with us.

This house is made to unwind in! Views of the forest await you from the walking trails out back. With a king bed and jacuzzi tub in its own bathroom, the upstairs main bedroom is perfect for the couple looking for a romantic weekend. The other two bedrooms are located on the first floor along with the kitchen, living room and the other bathroom with shower. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you'll need to cook a dinner for all your friends. All linens are included so you won't have to worry about packing sheets and towels. The front porch is great to hang out on and enjoy a cold one and grill up dinner on the gas grill after a long day of playing outside There is also a private pond on the 17 acre property that is just a short hike from the house that you are welcome to fish in during your stay. Just be sure to put the fish back.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK!! NO PETS ALLOWED. Please don't ask because the answer is no. I have renters who specifically rent my house because of the no pets policy. If you do bring a pet you will be charged a $250 cleaning fee. The same $250 fee applies for smoking(anything) in the house. There's a great private patio out back as well as a covered front porch. There is a video doorbell on the front porch for security when the house isn't occupied. It faces the road and only catches folks(and wildlife) walking up the walkway.

Mini-vacation

Our family of four stayed and we enjoyed ourselves. The house was very clean and cozy. We were gone almost all day enjoying attractions nearby but we enjoyed the uno cards the owner had at night. We didn’t realize there was a pond nearby until the last day while reading the guest book. A bonus the owner probably should mention. We had a great experience!

Family getaway

We had asked owners if it was okay to bring a few little ones with us. He agreed but said it might be a little cramped. It wasn't at all! It was great letting the largest of the 4 families have the whole upstairs and plenty of room to sleep even with 2 pack n plays. The place was very clean and tidy. The fishing pond was nice for the little ones but make sure you check for ticks when you get back from it! Thanks for a great place to stay in Beattyville!!

Old orchard

Could not find Remote for fan in rt hand side bedroom. No dishwasher tabs,no laundry detergent, grill tools were dirty. No tv service which I was warned about before I got to home. Home is very quite and peaceful lovely place but could work on details.

Perfect getaway!

This property is convenient and comfortable. Our family of four had a great stay. We cooked every meal and loved the double ovens. The house is situated about 15-30 minutes to the main attractions and hikes that we were interested in. Make sure you walk the trail on the property as it is beautiful!

Our 1st time using VRBO

This was the 1st time my family has stayed in a rental and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The house was exactly as described, cozy, clean and so peaceful. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and the entire family enjoyed our stay. We hope to return again in the future to visit our extended family that lives in the area.

Spacious and immaculate

Kitchen was fully stocked, quiet neighborhood, beautiful scenery, close proximity to local towns. The whole house was immaculate and plenty spacious for our crew. This was our second time staying here. We will return again. Highly recommend this property.
