• Clean the kitchen after meals, including washing and putting away all used dishes.

Spa Instructions:
• Before Use: Rinse off oils, lotions, and sunscreen.

• Fees may apply for a drain & refill if water is left excessively dirty.

Snow Removal:
• A shovel and salt are provided for your use.
• Snow plow services will automatically arrive during or after 3 inches of snowfall.

We had a great stay at chip o wood. It's in a great location, very quiet, and relaxing. We loved the jacuzzi and the fenched in deck for our fur babies. I would just suggest there be a broom and dust pan to keep the floor clean and a new shower door, its very hard to open. Other than that everything was great. I would highly recommend this rental for your Big Bear lake trip.

We really enjoyed our time there. Two adults, one kid and a toddler. It was perfect size, nice and cozy. The spa was nice to have, perfect temperature. The location was great, nice and close to town. Only thing I would say, is the bathroom needs a little work. The shower doors are broken and very difficult to open and close. The water does not drain properly. Little fixes would make it even better.

everything was good! Had a great time. Only a couple things, the vacuum is broke and there was no broom, so a little challenging to keep the floor clean as it rained the entire time. Impossible to not track in stuff. This is just info for the host, not a complaint. Everything went well!

Nice cozy getaway cabin

The cabin was cozy and perfect for me and my husband for a quick anniversary weekend. We really enjoyed the deck and the hot tub. Close enough to the Village to ride our bikes to and also to ride to the lake. Overall we really enjoyed this place and would come back again.

When we checked in there were some immediate maintenance items that needed to be addressed. They did send out a maintenance guy that night to address them. Was a little disappointing when one of the reviews from February mentioned the shower doors were broken and you could not slide them and this was still an issue when we checked in. Also, back in Dec a review mentioned needing a broom and there is still no broom. The deck had a lot of pine needles which we understand we are in the mountains amongst the trees, however there was a lot of chipped paint as well, and we were doing our best not to track inside, hence wanting a broom. The place was clean enough to be comfortable, but some attention to detail was definitely needed. I did pick up a set of 4 wine glasses at a yard sale to donate to the house as the only glasses they had were large water or tea glasses and coffee cups. It was very conveniently located, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Bed was comfortable and the area was very quiet allowing for a good night rest.

Wonderful cozy stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Chipowood. It was everything we were hoping to experience. We always had the fireplace going, enjoyed wine in the hot tub, walked easily to the lake, walked around the beautiful neighborhood, and drove to many of the close restaurants like big bear mountain brewery! Such a cozy and romantic time. Thank you Chipowood!
