I was a little worried about coming to this place after reading a not-great February review, but we found the cabin to be very clean with comfortable beds. Bring any specialty kitchen utensils (no pizza cutter), and maybe Saran wrap, (there was a small roll of aluminum foil left that we used), but everything else we needed was there, including a spice rack. It's a cute place, and the kids had lots of fun in the game room; it was a nice bonus.
We had a problem with heating the spa on our first night, but we asked if someone could come out the next morning, and they did come first thing to get it working for us. The management staff was very responsive, and we loved the location, so close to the slopes; moreover, the neighborhood was very quiet while we were there.
We had a great time, and would definitely stay there again for another ski trip!
We were extremely disappointed with our cabin.
1. When we checked in it was clear that the carpets were not fully cleaned. Dirt everywhere in multiple rooms. We soon found out this was the least of our concerns.
2. The entire reason we booked this cabin was for our kids to enjoy the game room. When we checked in the heat was not working in the game room. Cool cabins sent someone out (Tom who was great) but definitely a frustrating start. Tom was able to finally fix the heat. But the main game that the kids want to play does not work (the Multicade). They sent someone out but he was not able to fix it. Once again pretty frustrating...
Also it is not apparent that the game room is in a detached garage. Not mentioned in the description and not what we thought we were getting in the rental. This matters because our kids are young and we did not feel comfortable leaving them out there for too long without having to check on them.
3. The fish hook in my pregnant wife's foot. There was a fish hook embedded in the carpet right outside the bunk beds where our kids are sleeping. After putting the kids to bed my wife stepped on something very sharp. We were shocked to see that this was a fish hook sticking out of the rug. Needless to say this is completely unacceptable.
4. To cook on the grill I had to balance on a chunk of ice. Our neighbors are renting a cabin where the deck has been cleared. This is not acceptable.
5. Half the stove burners don't work.
6. No ice maker or ice tray in fridge.
7. You literally can not open the dishwasher without unscrewing cabinet handle.
We felt completely ripped off and that this trip has truly been a nightmare solely because of this cabin.
Location was good, enough room for 5 of us to sleep and eat although not enough seats in the living room for 5 people. Had an issue which we called about 1st day and was told someone would come, they did not. No heating for the bedroom and bathroom upstairs which would have been nice to know. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay.
