Welcome to Bobcat Lodging, your ideal group getaway in the heart of Birchwood, Wisconsin. This expansive 13-bedroom, 5-bathroom vacation home was custom built to host large gatherings in total comfort and style. Whether you're planning a family reunion, a group retreat, or an adventure getaway with your ATV or snowmobile club, Bobcat Lodging offers the space, layout, and location to make your Northwoods experience one to remember.

This is no ordinary rental - it’s a modern, high-end shouse (shed house) or barndominium that blends rustic practicality with luxury finishes. The owner designed it as the ultimate destination for snowmobile trips with his friends and family: a place where everyone could gather in wide-open common areas after a long day on the trails, share stories, cook meals together, and still retreat to their own quiet space at night. He nailed it. Every detail was carefully considered—from the fully spray foam insulated structure to the marble countertops and open-concept design with high ceilings and premium finishes throughout.

The home comfortably sleeps up to 30 guests and is spread across two full levels. Each level is a mirror of the other and includes a full kitchen, large dining area, spacious living room, and six bedrooms—each with two queen beds. There’s also an additional king suite with a private bathroom located on the upper level, offering even more space and comfort.

Guests have full access to the beautifully finished living space in the back of the building. While the structure includes garage bays in front, those areas are not part of the rental.

If your group is smaller- under 15 people -let us know! You may have the option to rent just one level of the home and save some money. Contact us for reduced pricing and availability during our off season.

Bobcat Lodging is not located directly on the water, but you’re just minutes from several lakes, public boat launches, and miles of ATV and snowmobile trails. Whether you bring your own gear or need recommendations for local rentals, we’ve got you covered.

PARKING is easy and abundant. There’s plenty of space around the building for vehicles, trailers, and toys, with wide-open areas to park and turn around without hassle. It’s ideal for groups bringing snowmobiles, ATVs, boats, or extra vehicles.

You'll also be close to great local restaurants, taverns, hiking and biking trails, and the scenic charm of Northwestern Wisconsin. Whether it's winter sledding or summer boating, there's something here for everyone.

The property is pet-friendly, with a fenced area near the home for convenience. Dogs are welcome with prior approval and a pet fee. Limit of three dogs total.

A NOTE ABOUT DOGS

We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) Up to two dogs are allowed at this cabin with prior approval. That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog(s).

We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog(s):

Consider barking to be a favorite pastime

Chew things other than bones

Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard), and/or

Use the house as a bathroom

We ask that your dogs be supervised when at the cabin and crated when you are not (One large crate is available at the cabin). Also, it should not need to be said (but unfortunately needs to be, as we have had guests leave enough surprises for us), but PLEASE pick up after your dogs!! It is NOT the responsibility of our cleaners.
