A walk through of the property:
-Enjoy the beautiful mornings from the screened-in porch!
The home is a single-family one-level home with only one step up to enter.
-To the left of the entryway is the open floor plan with a living room, fully equipped kitchen, and dining room. It looks out to the spacious backyard with fire pit and fenced area for your fur babies.
-The first bedroom you come across as you enter the home has a day bed trundle with two 5" gel memory foam mattresses. Great for an afternoon nap or overnight sleeping. There is also a workstation and room darkening curtains.
-At the entry of the first bedroom, there is a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer for your use.
>-Down the hallway off the kitchen/living room, you will first come across the full bathroom with shower/tub.
-Then there are two bedrooms at the end of the hallway, both with queen beds, room darkening curtains, and one with a workstation.
-The large shaded fenced area for your pup is steps away from the back door.

I wish we could have stayed longer. Our three pups loved all the new smells while they investigated most of the property. There is also a fenced area although, we didn't need to use it. Kelsey is an awesome host and provides all the details needed either in the listing, or via messaging after booking. She was quick to respond when I did reach out a couple of times but later when packing up, I found the binder, we covered accidently on arrival that may have had those answers. Whoops! The house had everything that we needed during our stay. One thing to note for future guests, while our SUV and two cars had no issue with the driveway, another Lyft driver did.

Great place to bring kiddos and your dog too! Close to plenty of things to do nearby (check out the rainbow road trail and of course downtown Asheville). Host was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back!

Fabulous last-minute get-away

We decided last minute to get out of town for a couple of days -- the cabin was just perfect! The location easily let us get to both Black Mountain and Asheville. The back yard was well maintained and the dog run was nice for our pup. The house was spotless and cozy -- a well stocked kitchen, soft linens, and a beautiful woodsy view out the back window. I was traveling with teens and everybody was comfortable. The house let us spread out and relax. We had a fire in the fireplace both evenings. So happy we found this gem!

1st Vrbo experience a winner!

This was the first time we have been a guest at a Vrbo and it was a great experience. Kelsey was an amazing host - great communication from start to finish, making sure we and our Australian Shepherd (Pepper) were comfortable and had everything we needed. The Blue Beauty was super clean and well stocked with everything we might possibly need or want. Although it is relatively close to the highway, it was incredibly quiet any peaceful. We would end our days of sightseeing sitting by a fire in the fire pit under the stars.

Lovely stay in Black Mountain

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. Our toddler slept great in the kids' room, and the house was very kid friendly. Our dog also had a good time and enjoyed the run. There are many thoughtful touches, and decor is stylish and modern. Location was convenient. Beds were comfy. Really just a nice, relaxing stay and can't wait to return to the area.

She even had a necklace I left behind and put under lock and key until I could stop to get it when I was back in the area. There is an Ingles grocery store about 5 minutes away. They even carry firewood. Heading the other direction from the cottage, the town of Black Mountain is 5-7 minutes away. Fun hardware and antique stores, boutiques, Kilwins, restaurants and a coffee shop beckon.
