we stayed here for a few days before our cruise leaving out if ravenna. this was our first time in italy and this hotel and its location is exactly how i pictured italy. it’s a boutique hotel, on a cobblestone street. the rooms are a decent size and the staff was very helpful from the time that i booked (answering email questions for me, booking & confirming our transfer to the cruise ahead of arrival). the location is great. there’s plenty of things to see and do within walking distance. i would recommend and would stay here again.

Lovely hotel, great location

A really nice hotel in a great location for sightseeing. The room we had was very comfortable and well sized for us with a water machine on our floor which did not or cold water. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection and the staff were all really helpful. The hotel is literally a minute from the main square and plenty of restaurants. I would certainly stay here again and the hotel donates money to charity for each night you stay which is nice

If you require connectivity don't book this hotel!

We had to wait to check in even though it was after 3 pm. Our room was extremely cramped and wifi was virtually no existent. I attempted to get on 22 times the first day and 14 times the following morning with no success. When I asked the front desk about the issue they said all I can say is keep trying. Not acceptable! We left on the second day of our stay and moved to a hotel around the corner that had fast internet and a spacious room. The Phi hotel is extremely expensive for what you get. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is perfect. The staff behind the front desk and in the breakfast room was excellent. The breakfast itself was very good. The bed, the pillows were superior. The shower was great. On the minus side was the parking (difficult access so we didn’t use the car). The room decoration (a bit too funky to our taste, but not a big deal. Overall all a great place

Overall nice stay. I went out for a cigarette in the morning one day and there was a used needle and syringe on the outside window sill of the hotel. I informed the hotel team and they dealt with it professionally and immediately. The room was nice and I felt safe as a solo traveller

We loved this property and plan on staying here in the future. We originally booked a hotel room but after staying in an apartment in the previous city, we quickly realized we wanted more space. The hotel staff were able to accommodate our request and move us to the apartment complex next door for reasonable fee. The apartment was spacious and the amenities were perfect. The location is incredibly convenient to the city center as there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff is amazing and kind, we definitely plan on returning.

This hotel is really well located in the centre, so it's easily walkable to everything you need and lots of major attractions, restaurants, food markets etc. The staff are the best aspect of the hotel, both in reception and in the dining areas. Breakfasts were good, and the hotel resturant menu looked excellent although we had already booked other restaurants for dinner. Unfortunately the bathroom in our room flooded every time we used the shower, and the heating wasn't easy to control without asking reception to do it. Overall a great little hotel, and any shortcomings were easy to ignore given the lovely staff.
