Most of the staff were very nice especially the lady running the kitchen. So sweet. Unfortunately the sheets on our beds had not been changed. I found hair in my bed and my sisters bed the sheets were all rumpled looked like someone just got up. The front desk said no other rooms were available. I asked for clean sheets and we changed our own bed. Went back down to front desk for top sheets and staff said she spoke to manager and now a room is available. I declined since my sister was in the shower and we had changed our beds. The beds were comfy with the much needed CLEAN sheets. I asked to be compensated for our first night but only received 1/2 since I declined another room. I pointed out it was not available when I asked in the beginning and we had already changed the sheets, showered and unpacked. Several conversations with corporate and local management still only received 1/2 of first night fee. I would not recommend this property based on my stay. I would give a 0 for cleanliness if I could and customer service.

The property itself is great. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. The room and esp. the bed was wonderful. Offered everything we needed after a long long drive. But no close by restaurants or stores and what was near was closed/deserted and very shabby, actually scarry. But hotel is great. Breakfast was wonderful

Quick Stay

Was a group of crazy drunk teens / 20s in the parking lot setting off car alarms, fighting, making all types of racket for a few hours on sunday night. Alot of people complained. I dont feel the girl at the front of the desk was ready to handle a situation like that and she looked nervous and upset about it, but like a child would. If this were NY the cops would have been called in 5 minutes. It was scary enough for me to move my car for the night and keep monitoring the situation as i had young kids with me. I loved everything else about the stay, but it made me wary of area and more so the ability of the hotel staff to mitigate these issues.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn express was very nice. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was really good. The only suggestion I would have was the lack of shower pressure which the hotel said that they will be checking out.

Poor service and bad stay

Well we got there early and was told room wasn't ready so we waited outside and then watched other people come in get their room and then bring their car to the door to unload their belongings. So we waited a while longer and some other people came did the same so I went and questioned it was told couldn't get in until 3 because that was check in time so I confronted the lady about it and she got upset stating they already had a room. More less just lied to my face. Will not stay there again. Beds are hard. Breakfast wasn't great watered down gravy cold sausage was half cooked. Cinnamon rolls was good. Pancake maker tore up people couldn't get it to work right
