New Rental: THE SALTY DOG! A 3 bedroom/2 bath dog-friendly house on a canal with a boat dock and private pool. Bring your boat! This home is just a 5 min boat ride away to Sarasota Bay and Jewfish Key. Close to IMG Academy. Sleeps 8 comfortably.

Dog friendly! Of course, The Salty Dog is dog friendly.
2 Dogs allowed under 50 lbs each (non-refundable deposit of $150 total). Dogs only.

Boat Dock: Bring your boat and tie off right at your own private dock (Room to moor boats up to 34' max). No fixed bridges to open water. Just a 5 minute boat ride to the tranquil waters of Sarasota Bay and the locally well known sandbar at Jewfish Key. This area is perfect for in-shore and off-shore fishing as well as dolphin/manatee sightings. No boat? You can easily rent one from several nearby locations or hire a charter or even a tiki boat ride. You can also fish right off of the dock at the house, so bring your poles!

This coastal themed property features 3 bedrooms - one with a King bed, one with a Queen bed, and one with a trundle bed (2 Twins), plus an additional space in the Florida Room with a Queen sleeper sofa bed, creating a relaxing space for 8 guests to sleep comfortably. This home also has 2 full bathrooms with shower and tub in both. Bath towels and bed linens are provided, as well as beach towels. Guests can enjoy amenities like having your own boat dock and private pool, full kitchen, washer/dryer, WiFi, plus Smart TVs in each bedroom as well as the living room and Florida Room. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at The Salty Dog.

There are tons of wonderful restaurants in the area with fresh local seafood, as well as grocery stores nearby.

- Shore (Longboat Key, but only 5 minutes by boat)

If you have an adult group, you can make reservations to 88 Live Piano Bar (just a 7 minute drive from the house). Must be 21 and up. Great shows!

We just returned from a wonderful two-week stay at this home in Bradenton, FL, and we couldn’t be happier. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was excellent.The house itself is beautiful—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need for an extended stay. The layout was perfect for relaxing, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen made cooking easy (which we did a lot of during our two weeks).The host was outstanding. Communication was quick, clear, and friendly the entire time. We had a few small mechanical issues that we resolved immediately and they were super apologetic!The location in Bradenton is ideal. Quiet neighborhood, yet only minutes from the beach, great restaurants, shopping, and everything we wanted to do. We loved exploring the area and felt completely at home the whole time.This property is a gem. We would book it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-managed vacation rental in Bradenton. We had a fantastic stay at The Salty Dog. The property is spacious, recently renovated, and well equipped with everything we needed. The pool isn’t heated, something I missed in the listing, but we picked up wetsuits for the kids and enjoyed the sunny outside space.

Our stay at The Salty Dog was fantastic. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Whether hanging out around the pool or fishing off the dock, our family had a great time. The house is located in a safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood close to beaches and restaurants. There is so much to do nearby, that is if you want to leave the house. Heather is an awesome host. She was very responsive and always made sure we had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend staying at The Salty Dog!

We had a wonderful stay at The Salty Dog. We've been down to Bradenton for IMG's soccer tournaments for 4 years now and this was our favorite rental. The house had a great open layout, more than enough room for our family of 4. The home had everything we needed: newer fridge, microwave, and washer/dryer. We loved the location, pretty much in the middle from Anna Maria Island and IMG. The communication with the host was easy and the check-in/out process was clearly detailed. We would definitely stay at The Salty Dog again!

This place is AMAZING!! The house is so nice!! My husband and our 2 boys stayed for Thanksgiving week. We were able to bring our boat and dock it right at the house so we were able to use it everyday, just a 10 minute boat ride out of the canals to crystal clear water! We caught trout, snapper, pompano, and snook! The pool and house were really nice and clean. Kitchen was fabulous to cook Thanksgiving dinner in! The beds and bedding are very comfortable.

We can’t say enough about our stay! Close to everything we could need or want! We enjoyed lunch and dinner out, grabbed Boba on our way to do some shopping, had a great run at Robinson preserve and popped over to the beach in a matter of minutes! The house is clean and very comfortable, we had everything we needed to cook and bake a birthday cake for our daughter. Our kids loved fishing off the dock and swimming in the pool. We will definitely be back!

Annual beach vacation

The Salty Dog was perfect for our 4 teenage boys and 2 dogs. We could easily bike to the beach and several restaurants. The house was well equipped with all the amenities needed to fix meals at home. A great time was had by all.
