Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood yet just minutes to downtown Breckenridge, the charming Chalet Montagne has everything needed for a great getaway to the mountains. The Chalet’s in-town location ranks high on the walkability scale being only three blocks from shopping and dining on Main Street, two blocks from a free shuttle stop that runs throughout town, and a short walk to the gondola for a day of skiing or hiking. This cozy cottage takes you back in time to when Breckenridge was a sleepy mining town, with warm, inviting interior spaces and delightful alpine furnishings, creating a perfect setting for a weekend escape or much-needed vacation to the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Amenity extras found at Chalet Montagne include a private hot tub, outdoor entertaining deck with gas grill, Smart TVs, and a wonderfully enticing fireplace.

Beautiful property just a 5-8 min walk from downtown. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and clean hot tub. Great for a family with kids or adult family reconnecting, as we were. This was our second rental of this house and we’ll be back.

This is an adorable, well maintained and spotless older Victorian home. The kitchen is fully stocked. The location is walkable to all of Breckenridge’s Main St. Having 3 bathrooms was a real plus even though 2 were in the hallways. We would definitely stay here again!

Mountain vacation home away from home

The home was very welcoming. The entrance is on an alley behind High St but the hosts are very communicative and attentive. We had a great, relaxing stay and enjoyed being in walking distance to Main Street. We would definitely stay here again.

Favorite houe in Breck!

Our family has been going to Breck for the last 20 Years at least once a year. This was by far the best home we have ever stayed in. We are a family of 5, 3 adult sons and a dog. The house layout could not have been more perfect and there was beds for another 4 -6 more guests. The location should not be beat, we walked everywhere. The house was so charming. Classic historic charm but spotless and very updated. There was nothing they didn't provide. It sits at the end of a quaint street in a gorgeous, historic housing and park area. So easy with a dog. The house was outstanding, the Location was unbeatable. Cannot say enough about this home.

Hidden Gem Walkable to Main

Our stay at the home went perfectly - everything is exactly as described and all necessities are provided down to pots, fans, and detergent. Home was very clean with TV in every bedroom with streaming services. Hot tub works perfectly. Walkable to all the desirable restaurants! Recommended!

Wonderful Location and Adorable House

Stayed here with family while skiing Breckenridge. The location was amazing! We walked everywhere, to the market, restaurants, breweries, shops on main street, gondola... The house was cleas, adorable and fit 3 couples and 4 kids very comfortably. The property manager was very helpful and check in/out were very easy. We will definitely return!

The property management company was extremely responsive. The hot tub, linens, and property were very clean and well kept. All light switches were labeled. All questions were answered before they were asked. Kitchen is ACTUALLY well stocked. We were very pleased with how this house was managed.

Perfect size and location. Loved the coziness and family gathering space. Comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. Communication with the accommodating property manager was so easy. Perfect place to hang

This house is cute as a button. Welll appointed and very cozy home feel. Kitchen gorgeous. Great water pressure. Plenty of towels. Kitchen well stocked. Host very communicative. VERY clean and I am picky on this point so the first thing I do is check for cleanliness. Excellent back area for our dogs to do their business. No complaints whatsoever. We’ll be back!

A charming home in downtown Breckenridge

Our party had a short but pleasant stay at the Chalet Montagne. The layout of the house (2 roomy BRs & BAs upstairs, one BR & BA downstairs) was perfect for us. The management company was helpful and easy to reach with any issues. A short walk to the Carlin Tavern where we had a pleasant dinner. Easy drive to Broken Compass Brewery and Breckenridge Distillery (there is a tasting room just a short walk). Enjoyed the hot tub and on the morning of our departure, a moose and her calf dropped in to say bye! Note: there is plenty of cookware but not a lot of pantry staples in the kitchen. The house guide mentions this so be prepared to make a quick grocery run.

Family Christmas Week

We were here for new Christmas experience. After losing both of our moms this past year, my husband and I decided we needed to be away from our “normal surroundings “ during the holidays. This was a perfect location for our us and our 3 grown children, and 2 small dogs. We only had one person in the 2nd bedroom upstairs. I would say if that room were filled to capacity, it would be cozy in the living space. As it was there wasn’t enough seating for the 5 of us to all sit in the family area to watch tv - one had to be on the floor or at the table seating. There wasn’t a shovel available to use, so we had to use the broom/dust pan the last day we were there when we had substantial snow. Some of the pans/glasses needed washing before we used them. Other than these few things we were very happy with our stay!
