Ski Hill Sanctuary is an alpine escape ideally located a short distance from the ski slopes on Peak 8 and a quick drive to the shops, dining, and charm of Breckenridgeâs historic downtown. With five bedrooms, multiple gathering spaces, and peaceful outdoor living, this mountain home is the perfect basecamp for all-season adventures.
The homeâs open concept main level features towering ceilings with stunning log beams, expansive windows that flood the space with natural light, and a stone fireplace that invites guests to gather around.
The gourmet kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel appliances, a large island, and gas grill just steps away on the deck. Thereâs ample dining space for a hungry crowd â four at the kitchen island, six at the kitchen table, eight at the adjacent dining room table, and another six outside for al fresco meals in the summer.
Step out onto the expansive deck and discover one of the homeâs true highlights. Whether youâre sipping cocktails in the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, enjoying a long summer dinner with mountain views, or soaking in the private hot tub surrounded by aspens, this is outdoor living at its most inviting.
Back inside, six bedrooms across three levels provide cozy retreats for a good nightâs rest after a day of mountain fun. The primary suite on the main level features a king bed, gas fireplace, TV, massage chair, and an ensuite bathroom with double vanity, large walk-in shower, and separate soaking tub. Thereâs even direct access to the outdoor hot tub on the deck through the bathroom. A second bedroom near the main entry has a queen bed, desk, and uses the adjacent hall bathroom with shower.
An eye-catching curved staircase leads to an airy loft area overlooking the main level. This space has a shuffleboard, pool table, and cozy sitting area, perfect for either some friendly competition or quiet relaxation. For additional bedding, there's a queen sofa sleeper in the sitting area.
There are two bunk rooms on this upper level. The first with a twin over queen bunk with a twin trundle, TV, and sitting area, plus access to a private balcony. This bunk room has an ensuite bathroom with single vanity and jetted tub/shower. The second bunk room has a twin over twin bunk bed, twin over queen bunk, and a desk. Next door is a queen bedroom that has a sitting area and gas fireplace. This queen room and the second bunk room share a balcony and a bathroom with a jetted tub/shower combo.
The lower level of the home is its own private sanctuary, featuring a charming apartment-style suite with a kitchenette, dining table for four, and comfortable living area with a king sleeper sofa, stone gas fireplace, and TV. Thereâs a king bedroom and a bathroom with single vanity, walk-in shower and separate tub.
Also tucked into this level is a cozy entertainment room, with a large TV, two futons that open up to queen beds, and oversized stuffed chairs for lounging - perfect for family movie night.
Additional amenities include a sauna, full laundry room with washer/driver on the main level, and a 2-car garage with additional driveway parking.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes.
SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.
