This gorgeous log retreat is tucked away at the edge of the White River National Forest, just above the historic town of Breckenridge. Located on the free shuttle route, guests can access world-class skiing and all the charms of Main Street in less than 10 minutes. Right outside the front door, miles of prime hiking, biking, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing trails beckon the adventurous.

With multiple master suites, including five king bedrooms, plus multiple expansive bunk rooms, several living areas, and a game room, this modern mountain home is perfect for large families or groups of up to 12. The spectacular interiors are constructed from hand-scraped Douglas Fir and feature soaring vaulted ceilings, giant picture windows, abundant natural light, and sweeping panoramic views of Mt. Beautiful house!

It's an absolutely beautiful house. We had a large group of multiple families, which included kids from ages 5-15. The house handled everyone great. My only complaint is the lack of household items. There was one roll of paper towels for a 5-day stay, no typical kitchen items such as tinfoil, cooking oils or even salt and pepper. Those aren't items I expected to bring on my own. That being said, I would absolutely rent again.

Great comfy home-like stay

This cozy cabin just 10 minutes from the ski lifts and downtown Breckenridge was the perfect mountain getaway. It was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering plenty of room to relax. The peaceful surroundings made it feel secluded, yet it was close enough to enjoy all the shops and restaurants in town. The cabin had all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and the warm, rustic charm made it even more inviting. Highly recommend for a relaxing retreat!

A beautiful stay just like the pictures!

This was an incredible house for us to celebrate the upcoming wedding of my brother and sister-in-law. We had tons of space, and really enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen together. Check-in was easy, house was super clean, and views were beautiful.

Family reunion.

This was a very nice property. The listing is hard to understand, but there are 5 bedrooms and an additional bunk area that sleeps 10. There is also a sleeper sofa. The only problem is parking. There should be more for that large of a group. We made it work though. The kitchen is well appointed and there are two dishwashers and plenty of dishes. It was clean and comfortable.

This property amazed us as soon as we arrived. Plenty of space for everybody and provided everything you needed to cook family meals. Parking was tight, especially for a property that holds 20 people, but we made it work. We would stay here again

Beautiful Log Cabin in the woods

We loved our stay at the Modern Log Cabin. It is spacious, comfortable, and lovely. The view out the back is amazing. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The main challenge is the elevation, which takes some getting used to. Would happily stay again.

The cabin was wonderful! Fit our family perfectly, the ping pong table was a hit with the kids and the hot tub was wonderful for the adults. Would highly recommend for vacation!
