Fabulous Birthday ski vacation

We celebrated our 6 year old's Birthday with a ski weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. 1 stop on the shuttle out front to the chair lift was super convenient and the outdoor heated pool and hot tubs everyday were so much fun!

Comfortable place

We had a girls trip in Sept and chose the Sundowner II property. It was close to main strip, check in and communication with management was great, the kitchen was very well equippedl, games provided, dvds provided. Beds were comfortable and liked the book of restaurants, closing procedures, etc. My only suggestion would be to add more detail in the book on how to work the tvs. We couldnt’ figure out how to get into a streaming service and either the DVD player didn’t work or we didnt do it correctly cause we couldn’t get that to work either. WOuld stay there again.

Great Family Get Away

While the end of our vacation was soured by the virus explosion in the US, we had a great ski trip and this particular condo helped. It was a very short walk from the bus stop to get us quickly to Beaverrun chair. Kitchen was well equipped and at arrival, it was spotless. Couple of small things that could be addressed with the property. The master bedroom was a bit dark and the mattress needs to be replaced. Other than that, the only other criticism is that the gas fireplace is in need of a full maintenance cycle.

Expected better for cost

Location to the slopes was good. Clean unit Maintenance came with issues in when the showerhead was broken upon arrival in the bathroom. However--for HIGH cost to stay some issues that give it an average rating. VERY LOUD from upstairs unit -walking, and closets kept us all up at night. ALSO-ran out of HOT WATER everyday. After skiing we want a hot shower. By person number 2, the showers were lukewarm.

The condo is a super easy walk to Main Street and to nature (check out Sawmil Trail if you get a chance - beautiful waterfall less than a 15 min walk). We came in the fall, so ski access was not a concern, but I did see a couple lifts very near by. The condo itself was cozy and comfortable - and the steam shower was much appreciated after a long day outside. We also liked having the ability to park in the garage. The management company was communicative and friendly. I will absolutely plan to stay here in the future!

The condo definitely needs some updating. The couch wasn’t very comfortable and the throw pillows were constantly shedding feathers which was not great for allergies. The carpeting in the elevator and as you walked to the condo was disgusting. Customer service was great.

The unit was clean and well situated. we were a bit disappointed as the description on website stated ski in/out (it wasn't) - once we finally figured out how to get to/from the slopes it was ok. We didn't complain about it but the hot tub was in need of a good cleaning. Otherwise for the money it was a nice place and easy to get to downtown.A bus schedule at the condo would be helpful, along with detailed instructions getting on/off the slopes.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the Sundowner II condo for a 5-day father-daughters ski vacation! We booked #203, a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom condo. The location was absolutely perfect! A short uphill walk to Snowflake lift, or 2 minutes via the free shuttle which stopped just across the street. Less than 10 minutes walking to Main Street in Breckenridge.The condo worked well for four people. Dad took the main double bed suite, two sisters in the twin bedroom, third sister on the pull-out couch (heads up: not even, quite bumpy). The ski locker outside was really helpful, there is a washer/dryer in the unit (no drying rack), and well-stocked kitchen of appliances etc. Be aware that the area rugs placed on the carpet were a tripping hazard as they get bunched up when walking on them. The condo was very cozy overall, and again, the access to the Snowflake Lift was great.Finally, Breckenridge Resort Managers were always very responsive, kind, and easy to work with. This was the second time we've rented through them, and would definitely do so again.

Mostly updated, well stocked kitchen with new/clean/working appliances and cooking items. Very comfortable twin beds. Stocked with DVDs, games, puzzles. Easy parking and unloading. Big courtyard area for kids to run around in. Nice layout with spacious living room for kids to play on floor.Cons: Needed a deep clean, especially backsplash, around microwave, dusty wall behind sofa, stained carpet hidden under tons of rugs. Master bed incredibly uncomfortable. Lacking bathroom storage. Noise from the condo above was extremely difficult to tolerate. We had a loud group above us and their footsteps thudded and squeaked the floor joists almost 24/7.Verdict: The best thing this condo has going for it is location, but our sleep was a nightmare with the uncomfortable bed and loud upstairs unit, so we probably wouldn’t rent this particular place again.

Great stay really close to downtown Breck

We had a wonderful time visiting at the end of May for the long weekend. The location was a huge win being so close to everything in the main city. We were able to simply walk everywhere when we wanted to eat or shop which was great. Of course, being in Breck there were incredible hikes all over nearby which we utilized as well. The unit itself was clean and had some great pieces. The updated bathrooms were wonderful and that steam/shower felt amazing after some long hiking days. We'd love to stay here again!
