Frozen

We about froze. Had to sleep with our coat on. Could not get any hot water. The bathroom had no heat.

Heater doesn’t work- don’t stay if it’s below 60

It was 30 degrees outside, and even though I had the heater on all night, it probably only got as warm as 55 degrees inside of my place. I slept under the blankets with my hoodie and jacket on and was still cold all night.

The hotel was old, but clean. Quieter than staying on the main highway in Breezewood. Room could use some updating and some repair in bathroom. Also, there was no soap or shampoo offered in bathroom. It was fine for a one night stay on the way home. We had our 2 mini doodles with us and it would have been nice for some grass for them when they had to potty and wish we had known there would be an extra charge for the dogs. We were told that when we arrived.

No good

Our room had no heat the tv didn’t work right and the was no light in the bathroom. Also hotels.com said check out was 11 and the morning of check out they knocked on our door at 10 and told us check out was at 10, I told them I thought it was 11 and they simply said no 10. So needless to say we won’t be staying there again.

The stay had 3 positives and three only. It kept us out of the rain; the beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Those did not make up for the following: The AC unit was mounted so high on the wall you couldn’t read any of the multiple selections and we couldn’t get it to stay on. The tv didn’t work. There was no outlet in the bathroom. The curtain didn’t close all the way allowing viewing from the sidewalk. The shower head was so low water from it hit your belly button. The pipes were not secured to the framing so when the diverter was lifted the entire faucet and shower head lifted behind the surround and it seemed as though the faucet would fall apart. The only outlet close enough to a mirror to use a blow drier was near the door where the curtain wouldn’t close all the way so, it was necessary to be fully dressed before using it. The towels looked as though they had been used to wash a car. The paint on the ceiling in the bathroom was pealing off in a big sheet. The bathroom fan was deafening and didn’t clear a bit of steam. There was No battery in the smoke detector. The key drop off was totally unsecured which would allow anyone access to the room after you left to steal whatever they wanted from any of the rooms and the last guest would likely be blamed. Will not stay there again. If there had been any other inns with vacancies we would not have stayed this time. Way, way too expensive for the conditions.
