This rustic retreat is just a short walk from the waterfront esplanade, boutique shops, cozy cafes, and the family-friendly Whale Park. With 4 bedrooms, a plunge pool and trampoline this is the ideal base for families to explore all that Brisbane and surrounds has to offer. Create memories, relax and enjoy our serene tropical surroundings.
âThe Kingsleyâ is just a short walk (5-10 minutes) to the waterfront esplanade, quaint boutiques, and cozy cafes of Wynnum and Manly. Take a walk along Bay Terrace and get a coffee on the way to Pandanus Beach.
Try your luck at fishing from one of the jetties in Wynnum or Manly.
Or take an easy bushwalk with native wildlife and a chance to spot koalas at the Birkdale Bushland Reserve.
Grab some takeaway at Graces Fish and Chips then have a play in the Whale Park before heading home.
Once the children are fed and worn out, come home and relax on the verandah, enjoy the breeze and ocean views with a glass of wine, and let the kids unwind in the living room watching the smart TV.

â Brisbane CBD â Around 30 minutes by car or 40-45 minutes by train.
â Brisbane Airport â About 15-20 minutes by car.
â Sunshine Coast â Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes by car, depending on traffic.

Stretching along the coast from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay is a stunning marine paradise known for its crystal-clear waters, sandy beaches, and abundant wildlife. Trains run regularly, and the journey to Brisbane CBD takes around 40-45 minutes. This makes it an easy and stress-free option for those who prefer public transport.
THINGS TO NOTE:
PARKING: There is room for multiple cars and a boat via the back gate
INCLUSIVE: As hosts, we welcome all visitors. Overseas guests, people with disabilities, families, and LGBTQI+ friendly.
NOISE: The property is in a peaceful quiet neighbourhood. To respect the peace of the community - we kindly request no loud music or loud parties. Noise curfew 10pm
EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS:
May be possible however we do recommend you to plan around a 3pm check-in. When your place is ready, we will let you know. If you require earlier access, consider booking the night before if available. If a guest is checking out on the day of your arrival, housekeeping needs time to prepare everything and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS:
May be possible depending on bookings and housekeeping schedules. Please reach out the day before check out to see if this is possible.
STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide you with complimentary essential starter supplies for your stay. This includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items for your comfort. This is not intended to last for the duration of your booking but to avoid having to immediately head to the supermarket on arrival.
LINEN: We supply hotel quality linen and bath towels for your stay.
LONG STAYS:
All stays 14-28 nights must have a mid-stay cleaning service at an additional cost. This allows for our team to periodically clean, maintain, and inspect the property. This is non-negotiable.
CHECK OUT
We don`t want you to do a long list of chores before you check out. We just kindly ask that you put back furniture the way you found it (only if somethings been moved), stack the dishwasher and put the rubbish out. Our cleaners will do the rest.
AGE REQUIREMENT:
We do request that adult guests are over the age of 25 years of age. 18-24 years are welcome if staying with other adults over 25 years of age. Children are welcome.
MANAGEMENT FEE - this is our damage waiver to cover any accidental damages so you don`t have to worry - see house rules for the details.
PETS: No pets allowed at this property.
NO NOISE AFTER - 10pm and refrain from causing disturbances to the neighbours to avoid having them complain to local authorities.
NO PARTIES - Strictly no parties allowed. Infringement on this rule may result in eviction without refund. Any additional time for the housekeepers to attend or inspect the property outside of their usual cleaning will result in additional administrative fees.
PHOTO ID - We will ask for photo ID and a selfie of the person making the booking. For 3rd party bookings we will need the photo ID of the primary guest staying at the property.
DAMAGE WAIVER - (management fee). As part of your stay, a non-refundable damage waiver fee is included to cover accidental damage that may occur during your visit. This waiver protects you from being charged for minor, accidental incidents such as broken glassware, spills, or small damages to furniture, up to a coverage limit of $500. Please note, this waiver does not cover intentional damage, negligence, pet damage, or loss of personal items.
If an accident happens during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so we can quickly plan for any necessary repairs or replacements to ensure the property is ready for the next guest. Rest easy - reporting accidental damage wonât affect your stay, thanks to our damage waiver coverage.

EMERGENCY CALL OUT COSTS - If the Fire and/or Emergency Services are called out due to a guest fault (including for false fire alarm call outs) the fee will be passed on to the guest to pay.

LOST KEYS OR LOCKED OUT - In the event that keys are lost/ damaged/ locked inside the property any time during your stay or check-out, we may need to call a locksmith and additional expenses will be charged to your account.

PORTA COT - Where a porta cot is provided, this is used at the guests own risk. The owner and hosts do not accept any liability should anything occur during its use.
