The apartment was big enough for the two of us, but it smelt like the carpets had literally just been done; over-powering smell. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The bathroom is tiny! Our apartment door was open when we got there…. Turns out it isn’t hinged properly and we had to slam it shut. Wouldn’t return.
I only stayed one night to see a show at QPAC, Morgan Suites were super convenient to South Bank but also to West End. Walkable to both and close to South Brisbane station. If you’re looking for something clean, comfortable, quiet and cost efficient as well as convenient to the sights, you can’t go wrong. Will definitely stay again.
I’ve stayed here before. It would be great for multi day stays due to the laundry and kitchen facilities in the apartment. The bathroom could do with a deep clean to areas impacted by calcium build up but overall was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Would stay again.

Very average, disappointing stay.
We stayed at Morgan Suites over New Year’s 2024/2025 and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The property was nothing like we had expected — aesthetically unappealing and much more basic than anticipated. The carpet had lumps throughout and needed desperate attention. Despite the price, it felt cheap and lacked the quality one would expect from a place charging those rates.
The rooms were underwhelming, with a dated and uninviting atmosphere. To make matters worse, there was an overpowering smell of what seemed like poorly prepared Asian food coming from neighboring apartments, which made it difficult to relax or enjoy our stay.
Overall, we found the value to be very poor for the price we paid. It certainly didn’t live up to the standard we were hoping for, and we won’t be returning. Parking wasn’t included in the price it was also on top. Highly disappointing.

Cleanliness was an issue. The hotel in general the reception and room had a very musty odour. The carpert in our apartment was Grimey. There was mould in and around the main shower..
I've stayed here for work travel a couple of times now and was very satisfied both times. the room was spacious, tidy, quiet and comfortable. I found the staff helpful when I had questions. the location was within convenient walking distance of everything I needed. I've recommended this hotel to colleagues - very decent value and comfortable stay.

I enjoy staying at the apartments - who place to yourself!
The accommodation is very well situated: close to the Cultural Centre, West End shopping and dining opportunities, and not far from buses and the train. Having a bedroom, kitchen and lounge area is convenient. Monique at reception is friendly and very attentive to any issues that might arise. I was impressed by the view from my eighth storey balcony. If there is a vacancy, I will definitely stay at Morgan Suites next time I am in Brisbane.
