Neat lil house

Pics of ad are probably when it was new - it was a lil worn but still nice.
Shower doors need a lil work on the track part.
Bed slept good - appliances worked.
Wld have liked to experience the soaking tub but its not as private as what it should be.
Top deck was ok. The seat-swing needed some cleaning.
Overall we rested well.

Location. We were next to everything we needed. Groceries, restaurants, state parks, gas stations.
Customer service. We contacted the host at 9pm on the day we arrived about a few issues that will be listed below, and received a prompt + friendly response.
What we didn’t like
Cleanliness. The bed was covered in hair which looked to be human and pet hair, as well as having a few stains. We contacted the host about this, and they sent someone out to fix it. However, the bedding they used to change the sheets smelled horrible. Almost like it had been sitting in a closet for a very long time unprotected. It also still had what I presume to be pet hair, and most certainly human hair. One of the decorative pillows had an obvious stain on the back.
The shower had a few dead bugs.
The utensils were covered in what looked to be chocolate. The person they sent over to fix this just took out the utensils that had more food stuck on it then the others. They still left the other dirty silverware so no attention to detail there.
The shower tracks were broken so we had to force it open and closed.
Would I recommend staying in this cabin?
No. Unfortunately.
I don’t think it’s worth the final price.
I did appreciate the friendliness and professionalism with the host on the issues, but the housekeeper they have was pretty horrible and I wish they would’ve done a final walk through prior to our arrival to assure it was in the best state possible.

Nice get away.

Cute and snug!
Posted Apr. 9, 2024 on HomeAwayI won't lie.... they are small, but they have everything you need. The sliding glass doors on our shower were off track.... making them difficult to move. The thin piece of shoe molding near the top of the bed area.... was coming lose and needs to be glued in place. A dimmer switch would be nice for the sleeping area lights. Those are all we found wrong. Out stay was quite nice. My Sweetheart and I don't get much time alone.... so the cabin and the eclipse made the day extra special.

Great weekend for the 2 of us

Cute and cozy
Posted Dec. 24, 2023 on HomeAwayThe cabin was so cute and perfect size for two people who dont need a ton of room. The owners were fantastic with responding. There is a cute little shopping area within walking distance as well. The upper deck was also so cool. Overall loved our experience.
