Posted May 13, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was an incredible trip. The location is exactly what we were hoping for. It felt like we were the only people in the national forest. We explored the forest roads around the cabin and walked to the water with our dog. We cannot wait to come back with the newest member of our family.

Planning a 3rd Stay
Posted May 6, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is our second stay at Bella Vista and we are already planning our 3rd! We added one more night this stay and I imagine we will do one more next time. If you want to get away and relax, I promise, you will not be disappointed. I love that we can bring our pups with us! Our last night, an unexpected storm came through and we saw a double rainbow! Our view was absolutely beautiful! Don’t let off grid sway you. We had all the comforts we could ask for. Again, my husband enjoyed exploring the national forest with his ATV and we enjoyed hiking with the pups.

Total Eclipse Experience
Posted Apr. 20, 2024 on HomeAwayEverything was exactly as we hoped--a beautiful, secluded environment to enjoy the spectacular total eclipse. We also enjoyed hiking down to the water with our dogs. The cabin was perfect and very well equipped.

Obviously the views

A Little Slice of Paradise
Posted Apr. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayThe ride in and out can be interesting, especially when it's rainy, but it's gorgeous through the woods. Surprised we only saw non-avian species on the way out today - two feral pigs.
The cabin is so clean and much roomier than expected. The views alone are breathtaking, but the quiet solitude is the absolute best.
The only thing I didn't like is leaving. I could absolutely live here all year round with no TV or radio. Swinging on the bed listening to the birds all day was the recharge I needed.
I definitely want to return to this little slice of heaven.

Stayed many times and I’ll be back

Majestic Views and Ample Rest!
Posted Mar. 11, 2024 on HomeAwayWe drove in after a nice rain and the streams were fun to drive through! There is a definite need to be in a truck or higher vehicle! We had to back down to let someone pass by us. The drive an adventure, full of fun and well worth it at the top of the mountain!
The cabin was ready for us and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and in working condition! The games were fun at night and kept us busy until we went to sleep!
Being off grid did not phase us at all and they have invested in making that look easy! The water pressure was amazing, the water was hot and we never had an issue with power or a comfortable temperature! The bed was comfortable…
The outside is where we spent most of our time! That view is a million dollar view. It is healing to start your day above the clouds and end them with a glassy lake below. The sound of the stream running helped to calm all the noise from the hustle of life. We will all miss this view! We will miss the stars!
We took the hike all the way down to the lake! Coming up really got our hearts pumping but it was 1000% worth the trek! Whoever maintains that “trail/road” has done a great job.
The management team was attentive and checked in with us! They greeted us and wished us safe travels!
I can honestly say I don't think I could stay in any other location in BB now that we have experienced BearCreek/BellaVista! Thank You for sharing your spot on this earth with all of us! 1000% satisfied!

Beautiful location to disconnect and be present
Posted Feb. 22, 2024 on HomeAwayI cannot say enough good things about this property and the hosts. I would absolutely come here again. My husband, daughter and I had the best time. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of life, this is a great place to recharge and get grounded in nature!

Peaceful Getaway
Posted Dec. 27, 2023 on HomeAwayMy fiancé and I very much enjoyed our stay here! December is an underrated time to book this spot. Fewer bugs and the heater in the cabin worked perfectly.
We definitely recommend following the vehicle requirements to make those last 5 miles to the cabin. We rented a Toyota Highlander and it was well worth it.
Views were spectacular, especially during sunrise! Favorite details: the porch swing, cooking with a view from the kitchen, and the comfy king-size bed.
Recommendations/tips: Save an offline map of the area on Google Maps before your trip! Service is spotty for T-Mobile. Screenshot or print check-in details as well. Google maps will lead you to the correct destination but we appreciated the detailed directions as a back-up. We're not picky about our morning coffee but we do drink a good amount so we personally brought our own coffee grounds, sugar, and creamer. Keep an eye on night time temperatures and follow their instructions for taking care of the pipes if it happens to get cold.
The owners/property manager Ashley were quick to respond to any questions. We had no issues during our stay so we didn't need to bug them much :) We would definitely book this spot again!
