On arrival our assigned room that did not at all reflect the online posting for this accommodation and despite having paid for our stay in full, considered moving to another place. We did however speak to the staff and they gave us another room. In the room where we stayed we were reasonably comfortable. The apartment provided an option for airport transfers, which was nice, especially on arrival, but it was not clear that payment had to be made in cash in Euros to the driver. It was also possible to leave the keys in the apartment on checkout, which worked for us as the staff had not yet arrived when we needed to leave. This accommodation does not provide anything particularly special, but was sufficient for the area we chose. We did manage to find a few gems in good proximity. If we were to do this trip again, we would have chosen a more downtown/central area in Pest - to each their own.

Nice apartment, one stop away from central station

Apartment was tough to locate for first timer. But once checked in and familiar with the surroundings, this is no longer a problem. The place was clean and spacious. Although there are pubs along the streets, I was barely disturbed by the noises with windows closed. I will choose this apartment if I re-visit Budapest again.

Very central apartment in the heart of Budapest

Akacfa Holiday Apartments it's a nice apartment in the centre of Jewish area, that is the heart of Budapest, especially for night life. Apartment was spacious for 2 people, with a kitchen, fridge, sofa, table and a nice balcony. We enjoyed breakfast outside. Supplies for kitchen were just enough, maybe having some harness more would have helper in preparation. As far is apartment you won't find any toiletries but they provide towels. We stayed four nights and everything was fine. Check-in procedure was bit longer but not problematic. Free Wifi in room.

If no one answers doorbell sneak in & wait at door

Nice location Occasionally noisy even though it faced the nice courtyard and we were on the 6th floor. Grocery near by. Good WiFi. Double bed had a board between the 2 halfs so not super comfortable. Nice kitchen. Only other issue was that when we rang the bell to get in initially the were out of the office on 1 st floor but no one answered. Did not know they were out till we snuck in with others and found note on door. They came back shortly.

Great location as it is walking distance to all, lots of restaurants on that particular streets and all in all a great value for money. The one thing I ddn't realize was that they offer no shampoo and toiletaries which you will need to go out and purchase.

A very pleasant experience

we went for 3 weeks for combination of vacation and to get dental work done We were very pleased with the location and the comfort the room provided us to accomplish our trip Would book the same location again if we were to return. The staff was very helpful and the room was kept up excellently with everything you needed. Walking distance from all the major attractions and loads of good eating places

Nice hotel but in a very noisy street after 10pm

Staff not very helpful. Road outside very very noisy after about 10pm until about 3am. Flat oven broken towel never changed and reception worked a sliding 9 am to 5 pm.

The location is great but...

We booked a room which was supposed to have "2 double-beds" but one of them was just a big "sofa" So we had to book another double room later That another room was very cold (Somehow ventilator was working all the time) and lost WiFi signal once Also, it is very hard to unlock the doors with the keys

The reception is on the 2nd floor of the appartment block. The signage for getting into the block and finding reception was poor and was complicated by the reception of another company being on the 1st floor! The reception staff were extremely frieldly anf helpful and the roon was spotlessly clean. However there was a problem with the heating of the room with radiators not seeming to work.

My boyfriend and I spent 3 days in Budapest. Can't fault the hotel except it could do with air conditioning. It was easy to find and the reception were really helpful. Budapest itself was a lovely city, although we did find the service in shops, restaurants and some bars to be rude

When we initially arrived at the apartments we were told our room was in another location which ended being in the inner city. They paid for a taxi to take us also. The room was very nice and clean. The only issue was the bed in the living room was slightly broken in the middle so was not comfortable to sleep on. I would definitely stay here again, brilliant location and nice for a couple of days stay.

Good pricing but not so sure about location/area

During the night it can very noisy as there is restaurants located at the street level next door with some night life near by. It is also in an apartment complex with people going in and out all the time. The parking is in a parking garage located underneath the complex and it gated they give you a key card and remote so you can access your spot anytime. The room door lock is very tricky to operate and took us a long time to get used to it. By our last day there we hadn't even mastered the operation of it. Overall it wasn't too bad but if you have time to find other options in Budapest where to stay I would consider those.

Just right for our needs

A good value apartment, very close to Metro, tram and bus stops, but also within easy walking distance from main Pest city attractions. Staff were very pleasant and helpful (they provided a dvd player at our request). The neighbourhood is not the smartest and there was some noise early on some mornings as it is quite a commercial street, but we did not feel unsafe. Nearby there were supermarkets (Spar & Tesco) and several 24hr convenience shops.

Awesome apartments in great location

The apartment room was very spacious and comfortable. The full kitchen was nice to have and even had a washer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer a breakfast voucher for a nearby restaurant for cheap and it was really good. Location was great.

Good cheap apartment

This was a good location for us, apartment was roomy with usable balcony.The staff were very helpful good with there information. Our biggest problem was no air conditioning, only 1 Pedestal fan and extreme temperatures. this is good budget accommodation and the room is clean and comfortable.
