This was the worst property I have ever stayed. The whole place smelled of smoke, the bedspread and sheets had cigarette burns and twere roaches. I would not recommend this to anyone.

All Super 8 locations not created the same

I always want to leave a positive review and be as optimistic as possible, but this Super 8 was extrememly disappointing. The clerk was nice enough to see if there was a non-smoking room available as I must have forgotten requesting such in making the reservation. She did find the cleaning staff, and apparently were able to find a room. But when I opened the door, it was in complete disarray, either due to work being done, or some disrespectful prior occupants. The bed was covered with things. I left immediately, and the clerk had to give me a smoking room. That was my own fault in not specifiying such. But even this rentable room had issues. I can deal with the wear and tear, but in the December cold, one needs to have a functioning heater. Worse, the bed had a sheet and a bed cover. No blanket. Normally, I like it cool when I sleep, but ideal sleep temperature is 62 to 67. It must have been barely 60 something, and no blanket. Unacceptable. Admittedly, I made no mention to the desk staff, as they could possibly addressed the situation, but to me, items are integral to a good night of rest. As I paid for two good nights of rest, and got none, I am very displeased with this location as it leaves me irritable today. I didn't need to be in Butler, so I regret not investigating other hotels throughout the Pittsburgh area. Caveat emptor.

We checked in on Friday evening. The lobby was full of people who were drinking alcohol and being very loud. They were so loud that I could not hear the clerk at the desk. This made checking in very difficult. We could actually hear them on the third floor. The room was clean ish. Very dated.The TV remote was broken. The pillows were terrible. On Saturday evening when we returned after our event there were empty beer bottles everywhere, outside and in the stairwells. We asked the clerk for more pillows, but we were told that they did not have anymore. We asked a couple of blankets to use as pillows and she gave us one blanket. There not enough towels in the room for three people either. Water pressure is minimal at best in the shower. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. We travel a good bit going to RC car races throughout the country. This was by far the worst hotel that we have stayed in. I would personally look somewhere else for a room.

Looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 1980s. Terrible bed linens, poor carpet. Lamps have pitiful cracked shades. Really a dismal place. No room service in a 4 day stay.No redeeming value. My last time at a Super 8.

I have stayed in Super 8 Motels in the past years and had no issues. However, this particular Super 8 Motel at Butler was very disappointing for my family. When checked in, we were first provided room no.113 on ground floor. Upon entering the room, we found the carpet in the room was in terrible condition, the linen on beds had all holes, the bathroom floor had some red stains on the floor and bathroom tub had lots of hair in it. Also, the room was smelling terrible. We asked for another room and were provided room#210. While this room appeared better than previous room, we discovered soon that the room contained bed bugs all over. Also, there were small cockroaches and other bugs in the room. Because we were told that there were no more free rooms available, we had to stick to this room as we had paid our money ahead of time. Another very disappointing aspect with our booking was that when I booked the motel room it included breakfast but my family was informed that there is no breakfast. We really got ripped off our money and truly think that our money paid for this motel booking be re-imbursed back for all the hardships we faced as mentioned above. I think some authority should evaluate this motel to review and investigate what I have mentioned above. Thank you.

I was not expecting a lot for the price but 2 beds would have been nice. Blankets without cigarette burns. Roach on the coffee pot. The few looked shady
