The staff is very friendly. We arrived early in a rainy day. Luckily the staff allowed us to check in early. The hot spa is excellent. One minus is the TV connection is not very stable. It probably may be affected by the stormy weather!

Room was old and in somewhat poor condition. The woman who checked us in didn’t provide robes and they weren’t in the room - It’s a hot spring and the reason while we booked. When we went back downstairs to ask, the front desk woman was too busy having a personal conversation to be interrupted. That said, the housekeeping staff were constantly cleaning and working hard.

The room was Specious and clean. Amenities in the bathroom, shampoo, cleanser, and lotion were top quality. I especially enjoyed the hot springs pools that were good size.

Nice warm swimming pool as well as two large soaking tubs with different temperatures. Comfortable room and quiet surroundings. Really liked the fruit infused water and tea and coffee available by the office. Friendly staff. Free bikes available, that we used to get around town. (helmets also given out with them!)

Rooms were nice sized, with comfy bed and large TV. Enjoyed the microwave, sink, fridge and provided glasses. Robes were nice and the pool scene is perfect, even in the rain! Pool and 2 hot tubs were each a different temperature which is nice. This is all on top of being in Calistiga/Napa valley

Everything was awesome..... just one flaw in the hotel. Where the living room carpet meets the bathroom tiling, there was a couple of sharp nails sticking up from the carpet. I just covered that area with a spare towel. This was in the deluxe room, #26. Other than that, everything else was great!!!!

My husband and I have stayed at Golden Haven Spa well over 20 times, and it’s one of our favorite places to stay in the Calistoga area. This small, family-run hotel is very welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The thermal water is wonderful, and the lovely grounds in the back make it a peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Highly recommended.

Everything was great! Staff were fantastic and the room was lovely. Spa was great with a hot mineral tub, a body temp mineral tub and nice heated pool. The mud bath is definitely worth trying.
