The Ngawi Experience

Posted Mar. 16, 2024 on HomeAwayWe so enjoyed our stay in Ngawi. The house is delightful, so well designed and well equipped, with outstanding views of the ocean. Unfortunately the people who stayed last left the house in a less than desirable condition: a pool of dirty watr remained in the dishwasher; the stove top and splashback needed wiping, the fridge needed wiping and coffee was splattered on the wardrobe door of the main bedroom. The toilet had not been flushed, the shower drain was blocked and had to be cleared of hair.
There were also crumbs on the floor of the living area and couches. In spite of this, after we had done a cleanup we very much enjoyed our stay

Perfect holiday house and location.
Posted Jan. 9, 2024 on HomeAwayRemote location but we knew before going so were prepared. Weather was great most days and the house was very comfortable in wet and fine weather.
Very comfortable house, it felt welcoming and we all felt at home. Plenty of visits to the wild beach and river, which the kids really enjoyed.
Above the normal price range I would usually try to go for.

Pāua Point Holiday
Posted Oct. 27, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had a fabulous stay at Jill’s place. The weather was wild and windy but lots of fun. The house is well equipped. Unfortunately the wifi was not working at all when we were there but we were relieved that the World Cup quarter finals were on free to air so we could watch the All Blacks beat Ireland. I did think this was 2 bathrooms but didn’t realise the 2nd bathroom was outside. Jill was fantastic to deal with, prompt and a great communicator. As others have mentioned it could do with a good clean but I guess that will always be the case when you are relying on each guest to clean after their stay. Thanks Jill
