Simply a wonderful 1,350 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home. The master suite includes a queen size bed, private master bath with double sinks, and a walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 features a full size bed with closet and dresser. Bedroom 3 includes two twin beds, end dresser and closet. The living space is spacious and inviting with an open kitchen, granite throughout, breakfast bar and dining area. Additional amenities include cable tv, high speed wifi internet, refrigerated air conditioning, barbecue grill, dishes, cookware, and laundry supplies. Our home is also very close to grocery store and several restaurants.

Nice house in Carlsbad. Very convenient place to stay to go visit Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad Caverns. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Carlsbad.

Thanksgiving in Carlsbad

We were glad to find a dog-friendly property on the south side of town for closest access to GMNP and Carlsbad Caverns. The kitchen had everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner and we liked the proximity to our hikes (under an hour’s drive). The yard wasn’t really dog friendly as it was just weeds and rocks, but it was fully fenced. The house was clean and had plenty of soap, paper products, spices, etc.

Great Home Located in the Middle of Carlsbad

Great home that is ideally located to the many things Carlsbad has to offer. Host was incredibly responsive to our request and questions. It easily accommodated our family of four and allowing pets is an added bonus.

La Cueva House

The house was cute, the neighborhood felt a little rough. Lots of wear and tear on the property (loose towel holders and outlets that were completely disconnected from the wall that we had to warn our children about). The property manager was very kind. I felt like the price was very steep for what we got and the fees made it outrageous.

Great stay in friendly Carlsbad neighborhood!

We enjoyed the stay immensely at La Cueva! The three bedrooms were perfect for our family of five. It allowed the kids space to spread out and relax after a long drive to Carlsbad, as well as after some long days visiting both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mtns NPs. The proximity was great for both. The home perfect for preparing meals as well, with everything needed on hand. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very clean and pleasant stay

We loved our stay here. It was very clean and comfortable. The kids said the beds were comfortable and we really had no issue. Just a solid rental experience. We hit 3 national parks in 3 days - Carlsbad, Guadalupe Mountains, and White Sands. Highly recommend if you stay here. White Sands is a 3 hour drive but we found the timing to be great for a day trip and was the kid’s favorite experience.

Comfortable stay

Location close to groceries, restaurants, gas. Home clean and tidy, some groceries left behind from previous visitors. Toiletries. Towels, detergent, cleaning supplies available. Only issue was that showers didn’t drain properly. Overall great, comfortable stay. Property owner very attentive and available to answer questions.

La Cueva was a perfect family base home for our adventures at Calsbad Caverns with our nephews. Spacious, clean, open, very nicely designed and furnished-- one of the better quality rentals we have stayed at. Nice master bedroom and bathroom. All the creature comforts, wifi, kitchen well-stocked. The owner was very prompt with communications. Tucked away in a private neighborhood with the conveniences of Walmart and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend for families and anyone needing a nice place to stay while visiting the sights. Thank you!

Great Family gathering place

Had a great time gathering with family from around the globe in Carlsbad and this property was perfect. Everything was as stated and more. Property was very clean and so many things were made available in the house - especially kitchen for us to celebrate the holidays together. Loved the games too!!! Adrian was always available for questions even during the holidays. Would highly recommend. Noticed in other reviews comments about the neighbourhood. Not sure why as we felt it was just a small town atmosphere AND the next door neighbors were quite nice. Thank you for letting us call your property our home for the holiday!!!

We had 5 adults and two children and this home was ideal. Adrian was very responsive in answering any questions.The home is in an excellent location for access to both Carlsbad Caverns and Sitting Bull Falls.I would highly recommend this home for a vacation.
