THE SPACE

The Apulian trulli are the typical example of ancient rural architecture, as well as a living trace of a history that dates back to the 16th century.
With their pinnacles of ancient memory and conic-shaped roofs,the trulli represent the fairytale image of Puglia and of the Itria Valley,
The very centre of the renovation project of this house is a centuries-old olive tree, chosen as a link between the old and the new part of the property. Ancient trulli and modern extension talk to each other telling a story of great style and unique comfort. The olive tree, in a prominent position on the internal patio, becomes the centre of the house and stands out against the white canvas of the walls.

Accommodation at Trulli Resolana is divided in three parts: the main trulli house, a small stone-built tower and a modern extension that houses the living room and the kitchen; all of them expertly restored or newly built, paying great attention to details, design and comfort.

The 4 cones of the trulli house a large entrance, a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower, an 'alcove' with 2 single mattresses that can be joined to make a double bed (please note that the alcove is ideal for children / teenagers and is not equipped with a door), a large bathroom with shower. From the trulli, a corridor with large windows leads to the modern part of the property, that consists in a with a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a service/laundry bathroom. The "telescope" structure of the modern area visually connects the outdoor pool and solarium area with the intimate indoor patio.

The independent stone-built tower, which is not connected to the other two buildings, is a two storey building : on the ground floor there is entrance,a small hallway and a bathroom with shower; upstairs you’ll find the master bedroom. The two levels are joined by an internal staircase, although each has its own access door

In the outdoor, guests will find several spaces to enjoy both sun and shade: the veranda with barbecue, the solarium, the beautiful infinity pool (mt 11x4, max depth mt 1,4) with ahydro massage , the internal patio,two additional relax areas perfect forreading a book in the hammock or under the shade of large laurel trees. An old bathtub in the patio, and a further outdoor shower on the solarium will allow guests to cool off in the hottest hours!
