The Villa Meraviglia was this past year used as a hotel but the owners have decided that it is better suited as a villa. It is situated in the centre of Valdichiana, close to Arezzo and Cortona and offers the possibility to quickly reach the main Central Italy historical and artistic sites: Firenze, Siena, Perugia, Montepulciano, Assisi and Gubbio.

Villa Meraviglia is an old country residence, skilfully restored and transformed into an exclusive home, set in a 2 acres park, with an Italian style garden and olive groves surrounding the property.

All original features have been maintained, brick floors, stone windows and doorways, chestnut beams sustaining brick ceilings have been reconstructed using the house's original materials. Period furnishing and rich fabrics, attention to details and professional service enhance the elegance and exclusive atmosphere.

The property has 9 double bedrooms (the beds cannot be separated), all with en-suite bathroom: 2 suites with small separate living area, fireplace and Jacuzzi, 1 suite with fireplace and shower, 4 double bedrooms (of which one with Jacuzzi), 1 double bedroom in the attic and 1 more simply furnished double room on the ground floor. 6 single beds can be added to the suites/bedrooms on request and with supplement.

The rooms vary in size and decoration but all are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, internet connection, safe, fridge and hairdryer.

The first floor can be accessed via a staircase or lift; a staircase connects the first floor to the attic.

On the ground floor there is a lounge, separate dining room, well equipped kitchen with a modern stainless steel feel and dishwasher, and a laundry room with washing machine.

The large air conditioned conservatory allows the perfect 'almost al fresco' dining in comfort; alternatively the glass doors can be opened when air conditioning or heating is not required. There is a CD player, indoor heated pool with built-in whirlpool and sauna, and an outdoor pool located in the garden (not heated) with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. When the outdoor pool is used the indoor pool will be closed but can be opened at an extra supplement payable locally.
