A lovely place, in the cool of the countryside, near the sea of ​​Moneglia and Sestri Levante

I was in Sungei with my wife for four days. I was stunned by this lovely place. During the day we had trips to the sea, which takes about 20’by car: we went to Sestri Levante and Moneglia. We visited Cinque Terre (unique place!!) by train. We also spent some hours in the nice shopping mall of Brugnato (about 20’by car). The apartment we rented was gorgeous, with high quality finishes and a sophisticated touch. The inside was perfectly clean, and the owners prepared for us home made jam and freshly picked up fruit! We also had a nice private patio for relaxing and having dinner, we had all the privacy we needed. Everything in Sungei invites you to relax and take a rest, the view is magnificent, you are surrounded by nature: flowers, trees...and silence. A special thanks to the the owners Daniele and Francesca, which were really nice and friendly with us! I would surely recommend Sungei, I wish I had stayed more!

Nature and relax

We loved it! A place to relax and enjoy the nature, pieceful and quiet with beautiful mountain view. We were lucky to see some wild life on the opposite hills. The village is magical, especially the center, old houses and narrow medivial passages. You feel like going back in time. Excellent base to explore Liguria and not that far from the beach (+/- 30 min drive). If you are used to drive in Italy's curved narrow mountain routes you mgith be faster. The apartment is really nice and well equipped, beds are comfortable and having two bathrooms/toilets was really a luxury. Dan and Francesca are excellent hosts, the communication was really easy and they were always there to help and advise. They have a beautiful garden and let us pick fruits from the trees. The figs and pears were delicious! We had a great time! Thanks a lot. We hope to come again.
