MDQ Events - A natural oasis on the Via Francigena

Right in the middle of the enchanting Artistic Natural and Cultural Park and on the famous Via Francigena, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, on which in the Middle Ages many churches and abbeys have been built, making the area one of the most interesting natural and historical sites in Tuscany. A perfect route for excursionists (on foot and by bicycle) and lovers of the incredible historical and artistic heritage of the area.
The thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni and San Filippo are extremely near MDQ and they make it the best place for visitors who are looking for rest total relax: our guests will find here the perfect atmosphere to take a break from the chaotic everyday life, in order to cultivate an artistic impulse or find the right peace to dedicate themselves to spiritual and religious meditation.
All this is made possible by the beautiful Chiesa della Madonna delle Querce (literally “church of the Virgin of the Oaks”), which takes its name by the image of the Holy Virgin which was found in 1676 and placed at the feet of the oak around which the church was built afterwards. On the second Sunday of September, a beautiful celebration of the Holy Virgin is held in this church: a very peculiar event and a wonderful opportunity to discover the fascinating community of the area.

MDQ is a cosy and charming accommodation. In the past, it was a classroom which was afterwards refurbished but maintained its original features, making MDQ a timeless yet comfortable structure. It is furnished with flat screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, a vast selection of teas and infusions and all the comforts that our guests may need. The private bathroom has the bidet, complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. The structure has free WiFi and air conditioning.
In order to live the most unforgettable experience, our guests can taste our typical products, which we produce on place in all their authenticity; moreover, visitors can also enjoy a big garden with a barbecue and a play area for their children.
