First time in Caye Caulker, stayed at Jan’s Hotel and everything about it was amazing. Location could not have been better, room was perfect, coffee on the beach every morning was magical. Luis was so insightful and answered any and all questions we had. By the time we left we felt a friendship with the staff, especially Luis.

Private dock, simple yet clean and fresh-smelling room, excellent temperature control, excellent housekeeping during stay, private balcony with great view even from the back corner of the hotel, easy walking distance to both the Split and eateries/clubs in opposite direction, great breeze on this side of the island, friendly staff, prompt shuttle service to ferry, beautiful 360* view from Pelican Nest on roof, fresh water to refill cups every day, etc. We will be back!

Unterkunft an sich ist gut, sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Das aber das anwesende Personal nur desinteressiert am Handy hängt und weder hallo noch tschüss auf die Reihe kriegt, ist sehr skurril. Man wurde ignoriert und angeschwiegen, solange man nicht explizit nach etwas gefragt hat.

Convenient hotel in a Caye Caulker party scene

The hotel was fine but located in a busy area. Caye Caulker is largely a party scene and the hotel is right on the main thoroughfare of the island. The hotel has convenient access to things but I would not recommend staying in Caye Caulker for more than one or two nights.

Loved staying here as a female solo traveler I felt Safe and had a wonderful time. The staff was so friendly they made me feel right at home and they are were so helpful can’t wait until next year. I’ll be back for sure

Staff was friendly; greatly appreciated the ease of transportation from airport to water taxi to pickup to the hotel. Great location, easy walk to the Split and many dining/drink options. The down side was “plumbing issues” that really limited our ability to enjoy our patio area due to the strong sewage smell during much of our stay. Staff were trying to address that issue without much success; no attempt to fix overhead light that wasn’t working. AC worked very well; room was clean.

We had a garden view room on the 2nd floor and what we believe to be a water pump was noisy other than that we enjoyed our stay. They picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off at the airport in Caye Caulker which was a very convenient amenity.

Great location. Have dining options all around as well as some of the main spots of Caye Caulker. Staff was great and arranged both pickup and drop off to ferry terminal on golf cart.

Hieme (probably didn't spell that right) at the front desk was excellent. He made sure everything was covered for the rides to and from the airport to hotel and also set up Fred the security guide to take us to the water taxi for our fishing trip on Monday. Fred also was very friendly. We spent a couple of nights/mornings chatting with him while waiting on the rest of our group to get ready. The only two things that I would suggest is a microwave on site to reheat leftovers and the beach area cleaned up some. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

Excellent place to stay across the sand road from a small beach and lovely warm water. A pier leads out into the water for sunbathing or watching sunrise

Very nice staff. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Nice shower with hot water and pressure! Provided frig and coffee pot with Folgers drip coffee. Provided a small nice touch of providing to-go coffee cups and a nice little porch to sit on. Security at night.
