Staff was excellent, always smiling and ready to help. The kitchen were very easy to engage with and even provided paper plates when needed for breakfast. There was hot water for tea and coffee 24 hours a day. It looks like an old hotel but extremely well maintained. Nice, quiet environment. They also have a fireplace that was lit every night so guests could seat around it. When we needed something in the room, the front desk was quick to dispatch help. I booked this hotel as I was focused on those with at least 9.0 out of 10 review rating and I was not disappointed with the experience. I will definitely recommend anyone staying in Central Long Island or just visiting the NYC region and does not mind taking the train to commute to the city should stay in this hotel. The hotel is also not far from the LIRR train station so if you are driving you can easily park at the train station (and it is free parking) and just commute to Penn Station in Manhattan.

Was overall nice, recently renovated with a spacious room and friendly staff. Small details missing - poor room lighting, bathroom door would not latch, sink towel bar was broken and not usable.
