Excellent for a one night stay, however the door of the pub is loud. The bed is very comfy.

Went the extra mile

They couldn't do enough for me. When I couldn't find the hotel, they provided me with directions and when I arrived just after food service ended they still put an order in for me and even sent breakfast up to my room the night before as I'd be leaving before their breakfast service. Was a very comfortable stay, beautiful room and ensuite.

Great room, lovely staff, good food

This was a real surprise, our room was huge and really well decorated, clean and comfortable, so fantastic value for money. The staff were generous with their time and help and the food is really good at the Red Lion The parking is great, so easy and close to the entrance. Very happy with our stay as it was very central to Durham/Newcastle area.
