The stay was good. It was a little scary at night because there are no lights. The stay served its purpose we needed somewhere to crash for a few hours before the next tournament day. But this place is great for a couples get away girls getaway. If you nature this is the place.
The unit was definitely old, multi purposed and changed through the years. With that being said it was quiet, clean and convenient. I do wish the key code information would have emailed earlier but it did arrive in time.
Loved how beautiful the manor is inside and out. Very quiet i would suggest it to others. My only down side was we didnt get the other B in the BNB experience.
Expedia shows they offer breakfast and they have pictures of breakfast but they do not offer breakfast. Gave them a call around 8am to ask and they said they dont provide breakfast. So that was my only let down. Other then that i loved the whole stay
This was the perfect autumn stay. Its quiet and out of the way. Everything felt luxurious and special. We were given key codes and didn't have to interact with anyone, which was great honestly. Only thing we could mention was that there was not a lot of sound proofing with our neighbors upstairs and from the hallway. Not a deterrent for sure, but we did get woken up by a child in the hallway. Again, not a reason to not stay, just honesty. I definitely reccomend it and we will be back!
Vintage charm, large room, comfy bed, quiet area. Beautiful grounds and property with great outdoor amenities in the park.
Cool, vintage bathroom but the shower and toilet were low water pressure and there was no chair in the room to sit, put shoes on, etc. We dealt with it just fine but some people may not like that.
We will definitely return and stay longer!
Cleaning and beautiful grounds. Food was not available, coffee cups paper with no replacements. No Cleaning towels. Food was not available upon ordering, pool was not available, pool was added coast.
I was given a code to enter the property. The door would not unlock, despite the lock indicator turing from red to green. Waited 40 min for a callback from them as there was no staff on duty at the property. Was told that "electronic locks often dont work in the heat" , in NORTH CAROLINA IN JULY...
Really? Am i the only one who thinks this is odd... Don't go there. Dont put yourself thru hours of aggravation. Ended up needing to find other arrangements and staying elsewhere after 3 hours of trying to work with them. Then hours on the on the phone with Expedia trying to get my money back.
I found The Manor to be an unexpected jewel. It sits in the middle of an incredible park right behind it is the parks Arboretum and there is a delightful wildflower path close by.
The room was on the small side. But it is perfect for a single traveler, or a couple the building itself is historic. Well-kept and lovely.
Service is interesting, because there is no check in desk. I was sent two codes via email and text with instructions on how to enter the building and enter my room. Itâs a great concept and you never need to worry about losing a key.
The park that the hotel sits in has a gate and it felt very peaceful and secure. It does not automatically offer breakfast, but you can arrange for that through their website or calling.
The minute I walked in the room, I felt this fear, lovely place to come back to with my husband and explore the park thoroughly as well as the surrounding area.
I loved it before it was bought - guessing it went corporate- never saw a staff member the entire stay- emailed me a combo number to get in and same for my room- had to set up the tv myself - thatâs how I found I needed the internet passwordâ I love this place- I have stayed here for years- I want to see it survive - thereâs always been minimal service which amass done but thereâs always been someone there to say hi - nice breakfast in morning- not now - coffee maker in room didnât work - praying they will step up / too beautiful to ruin- it was not worth all the taxes and fees and what I paid âŠ..
