We were not notified that the hotel’s air conditioning was broken until we walked into the front door. The hotel blamed Travelocity saying that our phone number was not provided to them. They also refused to give us a discount due to the lack of AC. We also had to wait 20 minutes to get checked in because there was no one at the front desk.

The check-in staff was not very friendly or helpful at all and was very disappointing. The room itself was very nice except the view was not nice at all as we were looking at a bunch of A/C units on a roof. The upgrades in the room were very nice and the bed was very comfortable.

While we arrived to find a bowl of congealed ? in the back of the mini fridge and the room wasn't as nice as the last time we stayed, the staff were super friendly and professional and went the extra mile to clean up the mess and make things right. The only issue that I have with the Tudor Arms (as usual) is the fact that they charge $21 a night for parking. Other than that, though, great hotel and great staff.

The hotel has history and decoration feels dated. The room we stayed faces the street and it is very noisy at night. There were helicopters flying by late into night. Loud music played by cars passing by. We stayed for three nights and for two days the room was not cleaned. On the first day, we caught the cleaning lady before she left and got it done. The second day, we came home a little late and still no cleaning. We took out the garbage ourselves and asked for clean towels at the front desk. It feels like an AirBnB.

The room was clean, however the overall condition of the furnishings in the room was poor. Both beds had peeling leather on the headboard and all over the base. The sofa did not look clean and was very worn & sunken in. The check in process was very long because the reception staff took an extended amount of time to help someone print a document at the front desk while 3 other couples waited in line to check in. This was after 10 pm, so you could imagine that people were tired & wanted to check in quickly but were forced to wait for so long.
