Captain Morgan's Hideaway is a perfect beach house designed for adventure and family time just a short walk to the beach down a quiet path in Pacific City. The garage is full of everything you need for fun times at the beach including a ping-pong table, lots of wetsuits, a gas BBQ and bikes!

Layout:

1st level has living room, dining area, kitchen, garage access, bedroom with queen bed and full hall bath. Upstairs has bedroom with double bed and twin/twin bunks , loft area with queen murphy bed, full hall bath.

Neighborhood:

Kiwanda Shores is a private gated neighborhood along the ocean front in Pacific City. Security, pride in ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the coastal experience is shared by Kiwanda Shores homeowners and renters alike. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the Ocean Front homes. Beach access is available to the Second Row and Back homes.

Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.

Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

I have no complaints about the property
the kitchen was was well stocked, abundant activities available in garage and board games, TV, movies etc. We loved the deer who wandered through the yard throughout the day. Property management was very friendly and welcoming. With all of that said, I felt like the price was really high for the amount of time spent between a 4pm check in and an 11:00 checkout. It was really only one full day and two nights. We love bringing our family to the beach but just can afford the nearly $1000.00 price tag very often. Unfortunately.

The house was the perfect spot for our weekend! Well appointed, comfortable and well-supplied. Our group couldn't have asked for a better spot and really enjoyed a smooth and comfortable stay.

Great house for a week a the beach with the family!

Nice quiet neighborhood where kids could roam freely. Nice walking/ bike paths around neighborhood and up to Pelican Brewery. Access to the beach is a bit up the way but easy enough. Amenities were as listed... 3 bikes with one for teen (bring small kids bikes if you need them), drawers in garage had plenty of toys for the beach, wifi access. Upper bunk in one room has no railing but is appropriate for older child/ teen. Enjoyed the daily deer sightings in the backyard.

Beautiful and spacious beach house

We stayed in Pacific City for four days at this lovely rental. The house was very clean and inviting on arrival. The kitchen had all the basics to make meals for a family of 7. We enjoyed the short walk around the corner to the beach and the most amazing sunsets. All of these things stand out as wonderful, but the very best thing about this place was the garage full of toys! We came to stay from the east coast and could not have possibly brought beach chairs, boogie boards, wetsuits, towels. Having all of these things available in the house made our stay so much better and more fun. Thanks so much!! If we are in the vicinity again, we would definitely stay here.

Great spot! Walking distance to the beach

We had a great weekend in this house! The home is open plan so we could plays games at the dining room table while others sat by the wood-fire stove and all talk together. It's only a 10 minute walk to the beach!! There's a gas stove on the back patio, but we didn't use it because it looked liked it happened been cleaned in a loooong time. Would recommend!

Thanksgiving getaway

Everything was great overall. Less than 5 min walk to beach. We have a 7 month old baby and a toddler and when we arrived the house was freezing cold. The temp when you leave the house is to put at 50 degrees which is a bit cold at winter time to come into when it was 38 outside. The only other issue was there seemed to be no cable to watch TV, just DVD movies. Their DVD remote didn't work to use and watch what was provided but we had brought our sons Xbox and we used that to stream Netflix to watch more than what was provided. House was in great shape, lots of room for us to spend our Thanksgiving break. Super easy walk to the beach and the Pacific city center of town. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for Kids!

Cap'n Morgan Vacation rental was perfect! The house had everything we needed to cook, play, and hang out. The wetsuits and boogie boards were an awesome addition and allowed the kids to have hours of fun in the waves. Great house in Kiwanda Shores, we will be back :)

This is a nice property for a small to midsize group. Deer were intriguing. Open floor plan nice.

Once the housekeeping problems were remedied, we had a most enjoyable stay. Ping pong table & boogie boards were fun. Bedroom on 1st floor great!
