Featuring its own PRIVATE rooftop plunge pool and large sun terrace with outdoor kitchen, No 8 is a luxury and in-demand townhouse in CĂłmpeta. It has three en-suite bedrooms (with an option for a 4th king en-suite). The premier bedroom has a super king bed and the other two bedrooms have king beds. From, the moment you book we take care of everything to ensure you have a 5-star holiday.
Your holiday home is fitted with air conditioning and underfloor heating throughout to ensure you have the perfect year-round ambient temperatures. A lovely comfortable open plan lounge, kitchen and diner which has plenty of seating for the 8 guests. There is also a guest toilet on this floor. The lounge features a Smart TV, which is Netflix and Amazon Prime enabled. There is free superfast fibre-optic WiFi throughout for your enjoyment along with a dedicated desk should you need to work whilst away. When you come to stay you will find a modern high-spec kitchen which is well-equipped with high-end appliances providing everything you need for a wonderful holiday. We have added bespoke artwork and fittings so you can really enjoy your surroundings and relax in this light-filled, airy space.
All bedrooms are decorated in a modern Spanish theme and have high spec shower en-suites along with super comfortable beds, a super king in the premier bedroom, and king beds in the second and third bedrooms. All come with large flat-screen SMART tvs. Each room has a large wardrobe. There are plenty of mirrors, sockets and USB charging points in the rooms. High-quality linens and plush bath and pool towels are there for you to enjoy. Complimentary luxury toiletries are provided. The rain showers ensure a great start to your day.
The house is yours with your own private access and your own private rooftop pool with stunning views of the mountains behind, from the pool your eyes sweep down the mountain, and onto the Mediterranean sea. There are ample sun beds and a dining and seating area as well as an outdoor kitchen with fridge to make life simple. The roof terrace also has USB charging points.
The townhouse is located on the beautiful Calle Plazoleta, just a short stroll from the main square. There are many restaurants and tapas bars to sample in and around the square. Supermarkets, bakers, fishmongers, etc are all nearby. There are boutique shops, hairdressers and beauty salons situated in the streets around the square. There are many tours and trips available and we are happy to help with arranging them. Competa is famous for its art and has a large art gallery featuring international artists.
In the heart of the square you can rise fully refreshed from a fabulous night's sleep and wander down to the square for croissant and coffee. Wherever you eat you are always welcomed and the locals passing by always say hello and even stop for a chat. Everything is on your doorstep, so if you do not wish to hire a car then you don't need to. It really is a beautiful, tranquil place to relax, if you want activity it is right there on your doorstep if you want peace, quiet and solitude the house offers that too.
The square has various visiting entertainment throughout the year, the Tapas bars on the square organise weekly bands and entertainment. Ferias and Fiestas are numerous, be it Competa Art week, Competa Walking week or the Feria in July - a 4 day extravaganza. Competa is famous for it's wine, in August they celebrate Vino Del Noche with dancing, food and free wine. The house is just a short stroll from all of these events.
There are tennis and padel courts, a petanque court and a large swimming pool in the village for hire. Horse riding is available close by and of course being on the doorstep of the Natural Park of the nearby Sierra Almijara mountains you can hike and mountain bike from the house with ease.
There is no parking at the house, which is common for Competa Pueblo. The nearest parking is in Plaza Vendimia or you can also park in the nearby Municipal car park, both just a few minutes away.
MĂĄlaga Airport is just 56 km from No 17 Competa. The nearest beaches are 30 minutes away. There are many attractions to visit both in and around Competa with something to suit all tastes. In addition to our regularly updated website we also provide guests with a comprehensive online welcome pack detailing a host of activities.
