Belle maison au calme

Maison trĂšs agrĂ©able dans un environnement magnifique ! Par contre il serait apprĂ©ciable que la climatisation dans la chambre puisse ĂȘtre utilisĂ© toute la nuit car Ă  cause du minuteur obligĂ© de se lever toutes les 2 heures 😉. Un grand frigo serait le bienvenu Ă©galement. Sinon c Ă©tais super !

Prachtig huis, adembenemende omgeving, centrum van Torrox op 25mins met de wagen. Het huis was netjes, mooi ingericht en met alle toebehoren wat men nodig heeft. Zeker een aanrader niet twijfelen, men beleeft de droomvakantie in 'Casa Pura Vida'.

The property overall was in good condition, however there was some crumbling concrete around the pool that needs attention as its very sharp underfoot if not noticed. The views were great and the outdoor area was really nice, this is a very important consideration for my wife and I when booking our annual holiday in Spain, the drive from the main road to the Villa was well signposted and as we often find, the tracks are single file only and can be scary for first time visitors. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and unfortunately were too late to book again for 2026 ! we will definitely consider this property in the future and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family

Fabulous villa! Perfectly situated with stunning views and beautiful sunsets. The villa contained everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Exceeded expectations

The villa’s position is second to none, stunning. The drive off the main road is a little daunting but you soon get use to it. The owners were very quick to respond with any queries and Kevin was very helpful as well. The villa itself is well equipped and all essentials were there from cooking oil to washing up liquid. The views from the pool area are breathtaking with the sun being there all day. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much.

Schönes Haus an schöner Lage

Leider ist der Text verschwunden! Dann Schreiben wir es halt nochmals. Danke an die Hausbesitzer, es hat alles bestens geklappt. Die Zufahrt ist sehr speziell, aber mit dem richtigen Auto, wir hatten einen JEEP, kein Problem. Die HausĂŒbergabe war "kurz und schmerzlos", das war es dann auch schon mit dem Service. Besten Dank fĂŒr den "Notvorrat"! Das Haus und das GrundstĂŒck sind toll, schnell hatten wir mit der gedeckten Lounge unseren Lieblingsplatz. Das Haus ist nicht neu aber gepflegt, der Wasserhahn in der KĂŒche sollte jedoch dringend gemacht werden. Auch die Brause an der Aussendusche könnte ersetzt werden. Wir haben uns erlaubt, den Duschvorhang zu ersetzten, der alte Vorhang war nicht sehr appetitlich. Das Bett dĂŒrfte 20-40cm breiter sein, aber wir waren ja nur zu zweit und hatten Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Wir können das Haus empfehlen fĂŒr Leute, die auch mal zuhause bleiben wollen. Die Aussicht und die Ruhe laden dazu ein. Unser Andalusien-Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

A lovely and quiet location in the hills

We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable time at this villa, the location was wonderful and just what we were looking for as a place to relax for a week. It was well equipped and clean and the pool/outside areas were spacious and ideal for chilling either during the day or in the evening. The property manager, Kevin, was friendly and most helpful both on our arrival and on the one time we had a question for him during our stay. Finding the villa was a little tricky, but that was because we chose to try and find it ourselves rather than take up the offer of being met by Kevin at a local fuel station. The drive down from the main road can be a little bumpy, so care is required but this short drive down if definitely worth it and we would definitely visit again.

Atemberaubende Villa

Eine atemberaubende Villa in exponierter Lage. Umgeben von einer malerischen Kulisse. Die Inneneinrichtung und Außenanlagen sind sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und gepflegt. Der Pool war fĂŒr unsere dreiköpfige Familie neben der Terrasse der Schauplatz unseres Aufenthaltes. Die Fahrt entlang der Berge ist mit einem Kleinwagen bei umsichtigen Fahren gut zu bewĂ€ltigen. Allerdings waren wir das bereits von anderen Andalusien Reisen gewohnt. Jedoch sollte man etwas Zeit bis Torrox Costa (ca. 30 Minuten) oder Nerja (ca. 45 Minuten) einplanen. Über einen vorherigen Kommentar bezĂŒglich des FlugzeuglĂ€rms kann ich nur den Kopf schĂŒtteln. NatĂŒrlich hört man gelegentlich mal entfernt ein Flugzeug. Ich tippe mal, die meisten sind in solch einem an und abgereist, oder? Einen besonderen Dank möchten wir an dieser Stelle noch einmal Kevin aussprechen. Ein herzlicher und zuvorkommender Mensch, auf den jederzeit Verlass war. So einen Ansprechpartner vor Ort zu haben trug wesentlich zu unserem erholsamen und entspannten Urlaub bei. Der Kontakt mit der Gastgeberfamilie Lammens war durchgehend angenehm und freundlich! Wir freuen uns wiederkommen zu dĂŒrfen!

Lovely villa and outside space.

It was unfortunate that it was raining when we arrived in Spain but this was not so depressing when we arrived at the villa. It had a lovely lounge with gorgeous views all round. The electric radiators and air con provided much needed warmth. Luckily by the following day the weather perked up so we could enjoy the outdoor space. The outdoor kitchen and bbq was wonderful with much needed shade whilst cooking. And we loved the pagoda seating area with 360 degree views. Sun or shade depending where you sat anytime of day. Wonderful! The pool is just a nice size for a swim or cool down. The kitchen is well equipped with a modern hob and oven. A King size bed would be a nice addition to the bedroom. Plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. My only grumble would be the bathroom. That shower curtain and me did battled everyday. A shower cubicle would be better. I dislike stepping in and out a bath although I appreciate some people like baths. Just my personal opinion. The road leading to the villa by Andalusia standards is pretty good. It’s mostly made up, not too narrow or steep. Once you’ve done it once or twice it isn’t too bad, especially when you see how steep or narrow some of the roads are nearby. Competa and Torrox towns are about 15/20 minutes drive as too to Torrox beach for shops and restaurants. I would say if you plan on doing more cooking than eating out then stop at a Carefour on the way from the airport to the villa as shops nearby aren’t huge. Co-Op size.

Our Special Place ❀

This was our fourth year staying at Casa Pura Vida and we have already booked up our fifth for next year! I think our record speaks for itself as to how we feel about it! We unfortunately couldn’t travel last year and missed it so much we couldn’t wait to return! It is our special place and we couldn’t imagine holidaying anywhere else! Perfection!

We have stayed at many villas across Spain and Portugal and this villa is amongst the best Its private and quiet with great views down the valley the house and pool are excellent All essentials are provided for cooking inside and out we love our barbeques, Visiting local towns is easy enough with a car aand we really liked Nerja which has lots of choice food wise and a busy but pleasant atmosphere We only met Kevin and he was great, explained everything and we knew he was available if needed Many thanks to Kevin , Geert and Sofie we had a lovely holiday after waiting three years due to Covid hope to return sometime in the future Regards Gary and Gill PS: Plenty of Gecko's around ( little lizard things ) and we worked out thats what the drawings are in the guest book lol

Ein traumhaft schöner Urlaub

Ein phantastisches, komplett ausgestattetes Haus auf einem großen, gepflegten GrundstĂŒck in traumhafter Lage mit toller Aussicht. Alles in exzellentem Zustand und ausgesprochen sauber, sehr gepflegter Pool. Sollte dennoch mal etwas unklar oder nachzufragen sein, ist der Verwalter Kevin, der supernett ist, immer nur 1 Whatsapp entfernt. schnelles Internet ist vorhanden, Handynetz nicht. Auch die Bemerkung zu FlugzeuglĂ€rm ist völliger Blödsinn, wir haben jedenfalls nichts gehört. Auch braucht man fĂŒr die Anfahrt keinen GelĂ€ndewagen, wir hatten einen Opel Corsa und keinerlei Probleme, wobei die Anfahrt zugegebenermaßen ein wenig abenteuerlich und bei Dunkelheit nicht zu empfehlen ist. Leute, die abends bummeln möchten, mieten deshalb besser etwas Anderes. Wer aber einen entspannenden, erholsamen Urlaub in toller Umgebung verbringen und sich wie zu Hause fĂŒhlen will, ist hier goldrichtig. Wir kommen jedenfalls wieder!

Amazing villa, highly recommended

Perfect!! Very peaceful and private location equipped with everything you need including mosquito nets in every room. Kevin, the property manager, was always available to help and communication went smoothly via WhatsApp. Can highly recommend this beautiful villa and we will certainly come back one day.
