8/10 Good

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The A/C worked once we made a call and had to access the adjoining unit and switch the unit to heat. We were there and it was COLD but, understandably, the A/C units were set to COOL and not HEAT therefore we had no heat night 1. Once we got that fixed the rest was good. The hot tub was a little bit on the dirty side once the jets kicked on but, didn't stop us from enjoying a drink. If someone is in the unit adjacent and had differing climate preferences this may be an issue but, all in all it was a good place to stay for us.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My wife and I came in town for a wedding and Ted and Jackie's was a wonderful landing spot. The place was great, they were very accommodating with the pool/hot tub temperature needs for my pregnant wife. Also, having our own private entrance was exteely convenient. Definitely be sure to run into downtown Garland for coffee in the morning, it's so close!

Lovely place, Lovely Hosts

Lovely place with lovely hosts. They were quick to help out when we could not figure out how to work things. Quiet and quaint property. Local church bells periodically ringing were pleasant in our opinion. Ideal location for our needs.

Quiet oasis

The place was great! The pool was inviting on a hot summer day. My husband and I enjoyed our time of solitude for our anniversary. The hosts are very responsive and generous. The kitchen is well stocked if you decide to cook. It was inviting - a home away from home.

Almost Heaven Cottage

This is everything it promises to be. From the welcome sign when you walk in the door to all the fixings for mini waffles, these hosts make you feel welcome! The kitchen was well equipped, and there were plenty of towels to use at the pool. Small, but oh, so nice!

Dallas Trip

We loved staying at this property. The cottage is exactly as shown in the pictures. Beautiful finishes on everything with a great blend of antique and Modern styles. The downtown Garland area is just about a mile away with fabulous restaurants, breweries, and shops. The DART system to get downtown Dallas is only a couple miles away. We will stay here again if ever in the area!
