As many other reviews have mentioned, the property is undergoing some heavy renovations. You can smell paint when you come into the lobby and see the work being done on the first floor. However, the room itself was perfectly fine! The room was clean, no renovations were being done on the floor my room was on so there was no noise and my family and I got a good nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was good, too. It was the typical make-your-own waffle station, cereal, eggs, sausage, etc. Finally, the staff was friendly and check-in was quick and easy. No complaints, and I would stay here again.

If you say you have transportation, have transport
So, our flight was delayed and we had an overnight layover. Rather than stay in the airport, we decided to go to this hotel. I've had pleasant stays in La Quinta previously, so why not? The big issue was the airport shuttle. We call up, they respond and send the shuttle. 5 minutes go by. 10 minutes go by. 20 minutes later, I get a call from the driver, who is somewhat frantic, asking where I was (I told them when I called.) He finally shows up, with a full van. While my wife and I are wondering where we are going to sit, he starts moving luggage around and informs me I'll be in the back. At this point, I just want to get to bed, so I go in. And he almost forgets my wife, and starts yelling at her as to why she wasn't in the van yet, despite a sign saying drivers are to open the door, and she ends up sitting on the wheel well. The hotel is under renovation, but it actually looks quite nice. The room was comfy, and we actually had a decent night's sleep. Cue the driver again. We signed up for transport to catch our flight, but he said he wasn't aware of it, and he would be there a half hour after the time we signed up for. So we took an Uber. The hotel itself was ok, but don't stay if you want to go to and from the airport.
