Island get-away

My first time to Dauphin Island and I was impatient. People were friendly and courteous, which is not usual any more. The beach was spotless although I was saddened by the lack of seashells. I enjoy walking the beach looking for “treasures”. I did spot dolphins and fish playing in the ocean, and even had a crab pop out next to me on the beach. If you are looking for activity you will be dissatisfied. I did enjoy a stroll at the Audobon Society preserve, but didn’t find anything else to explore. It was a very relaxing couple of days.
Good food and ambience. Again, really nice people and an enjoyable walk on the grounds.

Very tidy, very close to the beach!

A cute, very clean and comfortable apartment, just a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach. The pools and grounds are immaculate. We loved being able to walk right from our porch to the pool.

Great stay

Our stay was excellent. Room was everything we expected. Perfect location for pool access and walk to the beach. Had plenty of towels and linens for entire stay. Wife loved the room, and stated she woukd love to come back again. Thanks for making the vacation a great one!

A Real Vacation!!

so nice to get away from the daily stress and relax by the pool and walk the beach that we have known for over 50 years. My husband was an avid surfer in the 60's. Can't wait to return!!

This is a nice property but for 2 older adults that have grown kids it wasnt ideal. One idea is to have a kids only pool out of the 2 property pools.

Very Clean!!

The place was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Everything was clean. First floor was convenient with a baby. Back patio opened directly in to pool area and boardwalk. Management was very nice and helpful.

Great Condo with Easy Beach and Pool Access

We had a great stay at the Inn at Dauphin Island. Check in and out was a breeze and the location couldn't have been prettier. The condo was clean and well-maintained. I'm so glad we were able to visit.

A good room

Not a bad place to stay. Being on the first floor is nice. Kitchen was small but worked well. Only complaint I have is the patio door did not lock properly, which would be an easy fix. Good stay overall.

Comfortable but

Bed was extremely awful! You could sleep but don't move or you'll wake Alabama! Whole condo put together very cheap. Furniture out dated except for couch and chair. No one had cleaned patio... weeds growing in cracks. Overall very convenient, everythings worked,parking great, inside clean altho stock of landlord supplies sparce. Debrie on beach from hurricane (I hope)We would stay again but will look at others first. Loved pools and pool Furniture but long walk to beach and board walk lights did not work.

Convenience above all else

This is the second stay in this unit and like the first we love it. It’s convenient to the amenities of both the condo and the island. Plus the condo administration was beyond helpful during our visit.
