Dirty linen towels, Stuff very rude. Pool very dirty with some poo floating. Super on safe for kids. Stuff needs to go under serious training.

A Splendid holiday experience

Just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Hotel Splendid, Diano Marina. The Splendid is a long established family run hotel and this shows in the standard of service and helpfulness displayed by the family and staff members The room was clean and comfortable. Our holiday period covered the hottest heatwave experienced in this part of Italy for at lest 10 years and we found the air conditioning provided in our room to be of an excellent standard and essential for comfort. The beach and pool area are a delight and there was never any difficulty in obtaining a sunbed. Although we were only on a bed and breakfast basis, we had dinner in the hotel on 7 occasions during our stay and we found the value and quality to be of a higher standard than most of the local restaurants. The hotel were also very helpful in arranging a return taxi transfer from Nice Airport at a very reasonable price. All in all we would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Hotel Splendid.

It was Spendid

Excellent small hotel, freindly staff, good food, swimming pool, own section of beach 100meters from hotel. Hotel situated about equal distance between Diano Marina and San Bartolemew access from motorway is better from the latter and look to turn left after the Diano Marina sign. We will most likely go again. I think we were the only English stopping there.

Sehr gutes Essen mit großer Auswahl! Mittags und abends gab es ein 5-GĂ€nge (!) MenĂŒ, das am Vorabend vorbestellt hat. Alles sehr lecker und mit Liebe vorbereitet. Uns war es zum Teil sogar zu viel 😉 Das FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbĂŒffet könnte etwas grĂ¶ĂŸer sein. Alles Andere auch perfekt. Pool war voll, obwohl es eigentlich zu frisch Ende April war. Strand fusslĂ€ufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, kein StraßenlĂ€rm. Als Ausflug ist Cervo in der NĂ€he, sehr zu empfehlen, auch mit Kindern.

Hotel Spendid is een heerlijk hotel waar je een goede uitvalsbasis hebt naar andere plaatsen aan de Bloemenriviera. Vriendelijk personeel en alles wordt netjes onderhouden en schoongemaakt. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Hotel ligt op de rand van Diano Marina en St Bartholomeo al Mare. Hotel ligt dus niet in het centrum, maar je loopt in 10 minuten naar beide centra om heerlijk en gezellig te eten. Wij hebben alleen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt in het hotel.
