Everything was fine except I had trouble getting the shower to work satisfactorily. Ended up ok, with warm water but not really as warm as I wanted.

Pros: Quick check in
Cons: Didn't get the full experience as I had an early flight.. Morning taxi ride to DXB is like 15 minutes and about 50 Dhs, evening(two hours- 120 Dhs)
Location: Evening taxi took almost 2 hours with Sharjah traffic.Taxi driver had no clue where it was. Used GPS to get close and then had to call.BEHIND MEGAMALL
Kinda Hard to Find.. Located BEHIND the SHARJAH Mega mall. Nice hotel quick check in and escort to room as is common with the area.. wake up call and taxi call right on time

Nice and relaxing hotel

Pros: Quietness and comfort
Cons: No carpet on the floor.
Location: Just next to mega mall, so track mega mall instead the hotel location itself in the google map.
We got last minute deal for a standard room, however upon check-in we gt upgraded to deluxe room (probably due to unavailablity of standard room). The room was quite spacious and had everything that you can expect in a goog hotel. The building itself is old but well maintained. We had good sleep.

A convenient average hotel

The bath tub did not appear to be secured to the floor and the taps appeared to work at random - turning both ways, etc. The staff were very helpful.The lack of a normal shower was a big draw back. The location right across the street from the Mega Mall was a big plus.The rooms are much more basic than the hotel photos suggest.

Location: Great location for all activites
I was really surprised with the quality of this hotel for the price.. I hadn't stayed there before. I found it by chance because of the busy time when I went to UAE, most hotels were booked already.. Thankfully my whole experience here went well! The staff are wonderful!!! I have stayed in many 5 star resorts before and haven't experience such an attentive staff as I experienced at Arbella! I would definitely recommend this place. It is right next door to Mega Mall which is also a plus! Not too far from Dubai and the airport at all. Every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful!

hotel you should never book
Posted Sep. 14, 2011 on Hotelswe checked in on Sept.7th 2011 were shocked by the lobby colors and condition, looked very suspicious !! but it was 12 am and we were very tired, we told them we are checking out tomorrow. we were then appaled at the rooms colors and furniture, the shower/ jaccuzi that were not working and leaking water all over the bathroom. we hardly slept because we were afraid their mattresses would harbor bed bugs which apparently they didnt.
