Hotel was very easy to find with Great parking, My family’s experience at the Clayton Hotel Liffey is very poor, my room N423 was extremely hot with no A/C, Very little window and no fan. Noise from fast moving traffic all night! Also the carpet by the wardrobe had an area bold, Looks like bugs or larvae is eating it. Toilet has stains and bathroom has black mould, This has been advertised as a deluxe superior Room? This is my first time staying at a Clayton and unfortunately will be my last. Not impressed at all!!

It was barmy warm weekend in Dublin, and I don’t hold Clayton Liffey valley for gods good work, however there was nothing to mitigate this at all apart from a filthy noisy ( of centre) fan! The furnishings were bashed and dated, poorly maintained. There was a function on both nights, finishing late and, due to the weather windows were open making it far to loud to sleep! Check in was farcical, a big push to self service kiosks that were not working correctly (confirmed by a member of staff). Overall very disappointing.

Regular stay for few days is good.

There is usual big hotel outside Dublin but close to it and with good connection to the the center by bus (near 1 hour riding). Also I need to say about big pool inside and, of course, big shopping center outside and close to it. Hotel still in good condition and only one thing that little bit strange that there is no any climatic system nor airco. Regulating temperature by the opening/closing window works but little bit boring. Also little bit strange when all people in line for check-in get some free bonuses like increasing room category, but for our family nothing was proposed, even small gift like cup of coffee or beer. Maybe it happens because manager on reception was changed just before us. But, anyhow hotel is ok for its money.

Service by the staff…

The service by the staff on the first day was terrible, it was very warm on the first day and asked for an extra fan because the baby of 2 month old was not able to settle down with the warm situation in the room at night, called the staff at least 10 or 11 times, said will come by 10 mints, will come now etc etc but no response. Waited till 12 in the morning but no response at all…. The second day staff was really good and helpful I appreciate them….

Not great if coeliac, otherwise lovely.

Hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly. Pool and restaurant nice and clean. No options on menu for coeliacs at dinner and limited at breakfast.
