Clean and comfortable

Lovely hotel, big comfortable room and friendly helpful staff. Nice food in the bar. On the main route to the city centre. Enjoyable overnight stay.

We stayed here about a year ago, and it was superb, so we decided to comeback and see if it was one off. Well have to say still the first class service, with superb facilities, staff at reception are an absolute delight, helpful, friendly and attentive, the bar staff are helpful,talkative and the pint of Guinness is still superb, the rooms are spacious and well thougnt out, the bed is very comfortable. Can't really fault anything, another great stay we woll be back.

The hotel is nice and a good location from the airport. However the ‘free’ parking is a mess. The spaces are very limited and we had to mention we had free parking when we booked through Expedia as we were being charged for it. The onsite restaurant was very good and the rooms were nice, I only have it a lower star score due to the parking. If you don’t need to park a vehicle, then this hotel is 5 stars.

The room hadn't been used in a while. The benches at the foot of the beds were so dusty when we sat down it left out butt prints on both benches. The table furniture was equally as bad. We had to wipe the table off to use it.

Greeting staff and check in staff were somewhat short and rude The hotel was clean and very comfortable however with no air conditioning we did receive fans and that seemed to take care of the issue as it cooled down through the night

The best hotel we stayed in while in Ireland! We stayed in the Hotel Mespil while in Dublin, and we made our way to the Killarney Hotel after visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Great, quaint little town with fabulous shopping and restaurants. However, when we returned to Dublin, we stayed in the Skylon and it was the best! Highly recommend!
