The phone didn’t work so we couldn’t call the front desk we had to drive up to it. The toilet didn’t flush the sink didn’t drain there was no power to the bedside tables( there were outlets), it smelled like smoke and the TV didn’t work!!!!!

We arrived around 2 pm and checked in. Our room was in the back forty of the property. As we open the door we are wacked in the face with the musty smell of this damp room. Everything looks very used and abused. Cigarette butts all over outside the rooms. The pool is outside but nice area. They have a bar with cold drinks and bar food. Both of which were good. The breakfast is limited. Toast, bagels, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee. It was ok for the most part. They just need to update and clean the rooms a bit more.

My belongings that were on the floor by my bed nearest the air conditioning unit were soaked . The carpet was wet near there as wells there was also a roach in our room. I was highly disappointed

Room was clean, although very dated and old. The air conditioner is extremely loud. Bring your shampoo/conditioner and don't expect a hot breakfast as that is not offered.

The old man working the front counter was extremely rude not only to me but to another man as well. The man was a vet and the days inn staff was talking down to him and being disrespectful. Worstbotel I've ever been at ever.

Not clean at all. Probably one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Air conditioning unit was incredibly loud. Highway traffic next to the hotel was loud throughtout the night along with all of the loud guests walking around in the parking lot and by the room.

The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. Charged for 2 nights and 2 rooms they cancelled on us without a phone call or anything. We had a baseball tournament in Dyersville and didn’t come Friday night, they cancelled our Saturday night room without notice and still charged us for it. Then we had to pay $172 for ONE night for ONE room although originally we had reservations that they cancelled. Absolutely ridiculous to pay over $700 for ONE night from them cancelling our entire reservation. Will never stay again.

I found the surroundings rather unique.The hotel is nestled in a ravine So it felt secluded even though it was right along route twenty (Dodge avenue). I appreciated that we had a free breakfast, even though it was just a cold breakfast, I was disappointed because I was looking forward to some waffles. Front desk was very pleasant & accommodating. The only aggravation that we had was 2 of the housekeeping staff having a very loud, animated conversation in front of our room in the morning which woke us up.
I was fascinated with this ravine and the huge wall of sedimentary layers across from the lobby.
