The historic village of Lanchester is less than two miles away, with a variety of pubs and eateries, perfect for a hearty meal or local pint after a day’s adventure. Just a short drive takes you to the city of Durham, famous for its majestic cathedral and riverside walks. Beamish Museum, a world-class open-air attraction bringing local history to life, is within 15 minutes’ reach and a must-visit for all ages.
