Stunning 4-bedroom Private Fresh Water Beach Front

Sunny, spacious 4-bedroom Cape with your own private fresh water beach. Jenkins Pond is one of the cleanest spring fed ponds on Cape Cod! Enjoy kayaking, swimming and fishing outside your back door. This gem of a house has a front-to-back family room with a 50" TV and puzzle/card table for lots of family fun. The first floor is full of sunshine with kitchen windows and a french door overlooking the pond. The multi level back deck is perfect for grilling or having your morning coffee.

You get the best of both worlds with ocean salt water beaches a few minutes away and the fresh water pond in your back yard. Take a left and you're in Mashpee Commons, take a right and you're in quaint downtown Falmouth Village. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket is a few minutes down the road. Your vacation can be a relaxing day at your back yard beach, or jam packed with visiting the Mashpee Children's Museum, Wood's Hole Oceanographic Institute or the Falmouth Bike Trail. The property was as described in the listing. It is in an ideal location - sandy lake beach, close to ocean beaches, restaurants, shopping and the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The owner was very responsive to questions. We would stay again.

Lovely Lake House near everything

Lots of fun for the family with room for everyone. The lake is terrific and although the weather was very warm, an evening dip made everything wonderful. Beautifully decorated home near Falmouth and a great ice cream shop called Skippy’s.

The home was in a quiet neighborhood, very homey, we all felt comfortable. Very clean and the views of the water were beautiful! We loved eating breakfast on the large deck and conversing in the sun room. I am definitely coming back!

Beautiful Home, Great Location

This is a beautiful home with plenty of relaxation seating space both indoors and outdoors. It is in a great location on the Cape and the neighborhood is lovely. Lisa was great to work with, very responsive and caring that we were happy with our accomodations.

We had a wonderful stay in an awesome home and enjoyed every minute! Lisa was so friendly I feel like we have known each other for years! Home is well stocked and it made it easy to fly in from out of state and have many of the things we needed already there and waiting for us.

Amazing introduction to the Cape!

A beautiful Property! My kids loved swimming in the lake and using the kayaks.The views from the deck and the kitchen, and living room are amazing. It was very clean and communication with the host was easy. Do not hesitate booking this property!

Peaceful retreat

It was so nice to stay at this peaceful location with a great view. The house had everything we could want. The sand toys and paddle boards were especially popular. There was plenty of room in the house for people to spread out and do what they want.

This house is a stunner. So spacious, clean and beautifully decorated! The lake in the back is so private, peaceful and serene and waking up in the morning and having breakfast out on the deck with the birds chirping and the little ducks passing by was something so special. The weather was perfect this time of year, so that was icing on the cake. You will also be very close to the town of Falmouth (only a few minutes away) but also close to other towns and attractions. Restaurants and shopping very close by. Just a perfect location. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were super comfy. Lisa, our host, was super nice and helpful and so great to work with.I highly recommend this home. I would definitely stay here again! You will totally enjoy it if you decide to stay here!Cindy Smith and family.

Lovely and Spacious Pond Front Home

Lisa was a great host. She called me a few days before our stay to be sure we wouldn't have any issues on arrival and help with any information about the local area we might have questions on. The house was clean and neat with wonderful views of the pond throughout, and very spacious with the 4 bedrooms and multiple gathering rooms. The location was great for our Christmas shopping weekend with downtown Falmouth, Mashpee Commons, Cape Cod Mall all an easy drive.

A little slice of heaven !!!

Nestled in a quiet, pondside community is this lovely, beautifully decorated and well stocked home with a nice open floor plan. The view of the pond from the back deck is breathtaking as the pond beckons you to come play in the water. We were on the pond every day even if just for a brief paddle around the inlet. The Falmouth area offers great fishing spots, bike trails, beaches and cute towns. It was a perfect family vacation, thank you Lisa for sharing your home with us.

Terrific time on Jenkins Pond

We really enjoyed our stay this year on the Cape! The location of this home is terrific. Wonderful views of the pond from the deck and the small beach on the property. Loved having the kayaks and SUPs for use. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet - and perfect for walking/running. Plus, there are numerous trails nearby. The proximity to Falmouth is also great. Finally, the home itself. Very comfortable and clean. Thankful for the window A/C units in the bedrooms, but we had very nice weather, so they were rarely used. Lisa is a great host and maintains a very nice property. Thanks for the great week!

This is an absolute gem. The setting is beautiful. Looking out onto Jenkins Pond from the enormous deck is truly magic. My four year old twin grandkids loved the private beach. It's absolutely ideal for toddlers, and no less enjoyable for adults who enjoy the paddle boards, canoe and ample beach space. The interior is comfortable, well equipped and well appointed. Lisa, our hostess, rates six stars. She is communicative, informative and above all kind. Just a super place in the most wonderful small town on The Cape.

Impeccably Clean and Detail Oriented

Don't think twice about booking this rental!! The house was so impeccably clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail the owners have was fantastic and much appreciated, anything you can think of that you need...the owners have there for you. Vacation rentals do not always have comfortable beds and that is not the case here! We had two teenage and one tweenage daughters and they would let us know if they are slightly uncomfortable and they all said they slept great...as did my husband and I. The owner Lisa was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. I can't recommend this location more and we would love to come back for another week at some point!

Perfect home for a "girls getaway weekend!"

Let me first say that I have rented many properties over the years for both friend and family holidays, and Lisa is by far the most friendly and communicative host I have ever experienced. She is exceptionally delightful! This home was the perfect gathering place for our getaway of five 50-something gals. The beds were especially comfy, the kitchen was well-appointed, the deck overlooking the (very large) pond was lovely, and the home was both clean and well-decorated. We enjoyed using the kayaks in November, thanks to a great weather weekend. And we walked and biked the nearby Shining Sea Bike Path. The sunset viewing from The Knob and from Old Silver Beach was excellent. This home was absolutely perfect for our getaway. We could not more highly recommend it. Lisa is an extraordinary host!
