*CONTACT OWNER FOR FEBURARY BOOKINGS AND WEEKEND SKIING*. Welcome to our real log home located in the middle of Powder Mountain Resort’s 5,500 acres of Utah powder snow. We built this home because we love the solitude and friendliness of Powder Mountain, not to mention the incredible powder! Located directly below the new Lightning Ridge Lift, ski down to the house kick off your skis and jump in the hot tub. Our home has easy access from the main road, no carrying your luggage through walkways or in a snow mobile. Walk or take the shuttle down to Sundown, Timberline or Hidden Lake lifts. Either way there are no lockers, no buses, and no parking spots to fight for. Enjoy the groomed trails, which are not overcrowded or the fresh powder of the back country. Powder Mountain was voted #1 in snow by Ski Magazine's readers in 2005. If you want to hit more than one resort while in Utah, Snow Basin is 30 min. away, renowned for its verticals and home of the 2002 men’s Olympic downhill.

We’ve built a dream log home, hand crafted inside and out of huge lodge pole pine logs. Inside we have made comfort and beauty our prerogative. After a great day of skiing, curl up with a book in front of the fire and enjoy the panoramic mountain view of the sunset, sky and ski slopes through the vast windows from the great room and master loft suite. Relax in the hot tub under the stars and sometimes catch the moon rise. At night, enjoy the view of the resort’s night skiing, a favorite with locals and visitors alike. The basement has a mudroom equipped with a washer and drier and a boot drier to make sure everything is ready for the next days run. There is a two car garage for parking and stowing your gear.

If you love to cook the kitchen is well equipped with quality cookware, fine appliances, granite counter tops and a breakfast bar. Whip up a great breakfast before you hit the slopes and a dinner to celebrate a day of skiing and riding. A BBQ grill is available for those who enjoy cooking outdoors. Take a break in the middle of the day and warm your toes by the fire for lunch at home or at one of the restaurants on the mountain. If you choose not to shop, our mountain hosts will shop for you, before and during your stay. The Valley Market and Valley Wine and Spirits are 15 minutes away if you have forgotten anything.

Quality beds from Simmons Beauty Rest and cozy furniture throughout the house are provided for your comfort. Feather duvets are provided for each bed as well as a choice of medium or firm pillows. The master bedroom suite bath has a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The French doors open to the loft for a spectacular morning view of the mountain right from your king size bed. Downstairs has a fourth bedroom, which can be utilized for the privacy of a couple, or a family room for the kids, complete with its own bathroom, TV, and pool table. A supply of games, books and puzzles for every age are provided.

In the summer you can enjoy the cool crisp mountain air and the quiet solitude of a mountain home. Enjoy views of the flora and fauna from every room in the house. We've seen deer wander by the kitchen window. Just minutes down the mountain, golf, fishing, hiking and boating are available in the beautiful upper Ogden valley. The deep blue Pineview Reservoir is a favorite summer recreation area. What a combination, the beauty of a lake with the snow-capped mountains in the background.

Perfect house for a family or group of friends

We had a great stay. The highlights were the ease of getting on and off the slopes, the great room/kitchen for congregating, and the hot tub. There was plenty of room for our group of 7 and the house is a short walk from Timberline lodge for those who need rentals. Donna was a pleasure to work with and with all if the changes going on at powmow, we can confirm that the lift lines are still essentially non-existent.

Spectacular view and spacious yet cozy luxury log cabin close to lifts

We got very lucky for late March and had fresh powder galore. We cooked group meals with plenty of table space for our group of 8, watching the snow with an obstructed view of the mountain. Communication was fantastic from owners and managers. It was well worth it and we will be back next year!

Amazing trip!

This was our first time to Powder Mountain and the home owner (Donna) made sure we knew what we were getting into since Powder is different that a lot of resorts. The house and everything we needed, including a goodie basket with some extras, and communication with the owners was great. It was amazing just took cook meals at the house and take in the epic views. There was a ton of snow and the vibe at Powder is very relaxed and friendly. My only hesitation writing this review is that I don't want the house to be booked up next year when we want to come back!!

The owner was awesome to work with and gave us so much information that we otherwise would not have had!! This was a great home. We had everything we wanted in a mountain home including a great view a well stocked and maintained kitchen and very comfortable beds. We had adult children with us and everyone had a great time. The snow was perfect to complete our stay. Highly recommend!! Drive way is steep so make sure you have 4 wheel drive for the winter.

First time at PowMow

We could not have found a better home for our group’s first trip to Powder Mountain. The home was exactly as advertised and more. It had plenty of space for our 8 adults and was incredibly well stocked everywhere from the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry to the garage. We felt like we were at home. Add to these the amazing views at sunrise and sunset and you can’t go wrong. It was very easy to get to the lifts at Timberline or Sundown. Owners, Donna and Joel, were very communicative and thorough with all needed info. We highly recommend this home and the owners.

Beautiful Home at Pow Mow!

We had an incredible Powder Mountain experience with this amazing home as our base of operations! Donna was extremely communicative and helpful regarding booking and check-in and very knowledgeable about the resort and amenities in the area. Timberline lodge and Sundown lifts are both a stone's throw away, and the shuttle bus drivers will pick up and drop off right at the house. The house itself is beautiful inside and out, quite spacious, and offered great views of the mountain, including the Sundown lift area. Hot tub was a also a huge plus after a long day of skiing. Highly recommended and would definitely like to stay again in the future!

This house is great, walkable to the only saloon in town, and an easy ski down to the chairlift. We enjoyed the views of the night skiing - pretty neat/unique vantage point.
