Room was good, nice bed, tv, easy access. One light did not even have a functional access area to screw in the bulb, it is just sitting on the ring of the lamp shade., torn wall sort of cracked drywall coming through. sort of moldy, dirty caulking in tub area.... Just an older hotel it seems. Quiet. Its MVY so they can charge what they do.

I was there for my sister's funeral who lived a block away. Since there were a lot of family going to be there, I chose this hotel as it was convenient, looked nice, close to grocery store, has a restaurant and bar and another family member had stayed there previously. When I returned from a long day, the room was nice, clean and comfortable

The property was clean and the staff was very nice. The rooms were spacious and nice. The location is great because it was in walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. I would definitely stay at the Edgar Hotel again!

Convenient place with average amenities

Coukd have used a welcome folder with a map, nearby places to eat, and info about free buses. No suggestions about placex to see. Oh and no real patio area except at restaurant which was only open in evening. No pool.
