This was by far the nastiest hotel i have ever seen. The whole place smelled like smoke. And there were alot of tweakers staying here. I had to leave as soon as i checked in. Because i knew 100% my car would get broken into. The bed had a bunch of weird stains on it. It was disgusting. I cant believe a hotel like this is in business.

I've never had a bad stay with Motel 6 - until this one in Elk City. The A/C leaked water onto the floor which was already so filthy that I was afraid to go barefoot. After killing the fourth roach, I went online to book a room at a motel across the street (Super 8) and left Motel 6 after only a few hours of being in the room.

Great service Terrible room

Debbie is as sweet as they come. She goes above and beyond to help. BUT Room 138 had a flooded bathroom and holes burned in the bedding. Moved to 139. The room is horrible. There was no hot water at all. Poor Debbie had to work a double because no one came to relieve her. She was so tired this morning, she fell asleep and didn't get coffee going. This is no way to run a motel.

After checking in, I immediately went to the room. When I turned on the bathroom light, 4 or 5 roaches were crawling around the sink and vanity. I got a refund and left the motel. Thank goodness I hadn't moved by bags in yet.

Understand what you are getting yourself into.

Front desk was very helpful and nice. The room was a little outdated but comfortable. My only problem I had with my stay were the roaches!! I didn't think it would make any difference if I informed the front desk about the infestation. I was there for only one night and I left really early the next morning. But I'm sure property manager and owner knows of the problems that exist that hotel.

Positively the worst place I’ve ever stayed! Filthy room from top to bottom, stained sheets and towels… Don’t stay here!

Horrible people

I was prepared to give a decent review before the hotel charged me twice for a room i already paid for. Then when someone from Hotels.com called them they lied about my check-in. They said i never gave my name which i did, even gave her my license. They claimed they didnt get paid for the room even though i had proof. The clerk that checked me in gave me a room with someone else already in it, then sent me to the room that the other guest was supposed to have. I will never stay there again and i will tell anyone asking not to stay there.

OK for the price - nothing fancy.

This is an older motel. for the price, it was adequate for a 1 night's stay. Room was clean. Bed average for Motel 6. There were stains on the bedspread, but ssheets were clean. Quiet, Great water pressure in the shower - probably the best thing going after a long day's drive from Cuba, NM. Would stay again.
