Cozy Pet-Friendly Cowboy House

Located on two peaceful acres & just minutes from CWU & downtown, the Cowboy House is the perfect spot for your time in Ellensburg. Bring your dogs to run free in the fenced pastures, relax on the comfy couch, & enjoy meals on the weather-protected porch.

The driveway is a pull through so trailers are welcome.

We have one security camera recording the driveway.

The Cowboy House is a quaint, 3-bedroom home with plenty of space for pets, kids, and guests of all ages. Our bedrooms have 2 stairs leading down into them, so please be aware of that before booking.

We run a dog-training business on the south end of the property, separated by the privacy fence. Please do not disturb or enter that area of the property. Thank you!

The property is 2 acres and fully fenced. Pets & horses are welcome in the pastures. Please no smoking on property.

You do have access to the rest of the 2 acres! Grass areas, the porch, and the pond pasture. We have an unattached garage and a few storage sheds that are for our personal use so please do not access them. Also, anything locked is off limits.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Cowboy House. I highly recommend this place. The location is great for being close to town but yet the house is in a very quiet area. This was the perfect place to stay with our two dogs. Check in was very smooth and communication with Taylor was great.

Awesome spot

Me and a few buddies went on a fly fishing trip, and this was a great home-base for us. Plenty of room to hang out outside under the covered patio and play yard games like cornhole property was easy to get to and had plenty of parking. The host is prompt with replies and proactively reach reached out to make sure we had everything we need and answer any questions we might have had. Would absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking to stay in Ellensburg and want a cool spot with a good amount of room to hang out inside or outside.

We had a wonderful time at the Cowboy House. Plenty of room and very quit. We didn’t have our dog this time but appreciate how welcoming they are and our dog would’ve loved the fenced area. Definitely will be back again.

Beautiful area, amazing and thoughtful hosts!

We were in town while a family member was expecting a baby so the exact dates were somewhat in flux, but the hosts were amazingly flexible and accommodating in getting us situated and rested up! Not only was the house spotless, but included thoughtful touches over and above the standard appliances and utensils, like a selection of snacks, various coffee options, earplugs for folks with snorers (!), and doggy treats and bags for use in the fenced-in yard. I can't recommend the hosts highly enough, they are exemplary. Check-in was a breeze, and messages and questions were answered promptly and professionally both via the app and SMS. We look forward to renting here again, especially now that even more family is in the area!

Clean and great for pets

We enjoyed our stay at The Cowboy House. We relaxed and had a great visit with our kids. Plenty of room for our dog to run in the yard, and stretch out in the living room. The beds were comfy and rooms cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

Friends weekend

House was just as advertised; we slept 8 adults comfortably. Very close to town and CWU campus, convenient location while still in the country. The extra touches for the dogs were appreciated, and it was great to just have an option to include pets and have a fenced in yard for them.
